This place is starting to show its age after a renovation a few years back. We recently stayed in room 109, and had multiple issues. The bi-fold door on the closet was off its track. I tried to fix it myself, but was not able to get it put back in place. The bathroom vent fan did not work. The tub drained slow to the point you stand in a few inches of water while taking a shower. The shower floor was extremely slippery, which was surprising to us given that this room is set up for accessible visitors. The bathroom door squeaked pretty loudly when you moved it. The room smelled vaguely of cigarette smoke, surprising for a 100% smoke-free building, but customers smoke just outside the entry doors and thus the smoke seeps in. I was not able to use the WiFi in our room as my laptop warned that it wasn't secure and wasn't safe - not usually a problem at other hotels. My phone connected fine, but I decided to just use 4G as it was faster and more secure. When we checked in, the desk staff was wearing a mask, but when we checked out, the young woman at the front desk had no mask on, despite signs all over the lobby stating masks were required. May not be the fault of the hotel, but the clientele this place attracts is starting to go downhill. Too bad, because the location for this place is pretty convenient and it has good parking.

I would give this hotel a 5 star rating based on Carmen's welcome and service at the front desk alone. We booked a king suite, last minute booking and hotel was quite full. Room had all the appearances of a post covid hotel room. Armoire, not a closet; wall mounted toiletries (dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash), no hand soap, no lotion or kleenex. In fairness. I didn't ask the desk although they do offer this option.Excellent wifi, iron, ironing board, microwave and fridge in our room. Small exercise room open but not ”spa” area. Breakfast starts at 7 and behind closed doors so dont go early. Usual offerings but fresh and plentiful. Coffee station outside which you can access before 7. When ou exit the hotel, walk down the ”hill” turn right and walk on the sidewalk under the overpass you'll find Bentley's Pub. Nice walking distance (5 minutes) , great service and generous, wholesome food.

I had a credit card confirmed reservation for myself, husband and three young grand kids. Upon arrival, I was told my room was given away because there was a problem with my credit card and they didn’t have a number to contact me. My American Express confirmed my reservation and my phone number was listed right under that. The guy said I was one of many they sent away Friday night… my grand kids were so sad and disappointed as they were excited to go for a swim. When I expressed that, the guy said, our pool is being remodeled right now. I asked why that wasn’t on the description. Note; my reservation was for $619. For two nights. On line looks cheaper. Not only did they completely disappoint three little girls but they made a big mistake!!

Clean rooms, excellent staff. Dimple at the front desk has been very helpful, guiding us. The view is good fro. Most rooms. Uber & lyft access is quite quick. Any destination is in 5 mile radius so the stay kind of helps a s center for most malls and other shopping areas.

This was a decent hotel for most to stay in for a few nights. I thought the lobby was nice, the front desk staff were nice, and the rooms were not bad. For the room: The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice with a decent shower, the desk had a nice set up, and the TV had some good channels on it. I did not check out the pool area due to lack of time but it looked decent as well. My favorite part though was he continental breakfast. I enjoy the large spread of breakfast items offered such as: Muffins, Bagels, Toast, Cereal, omelets, oatmeal, sausages, and the great waffle bar. All great stuff and both of the staff on that did a wonderful job. However, the not so good things regarding this hotel overall were: Pillows were too fluffy to get comfortable, yes there is a such thing. Pillows should be like boobs, not too soft, not too firm, but in the middle enough to review a good level of comfort, the tub in the showers not big enough, the TV did not provide enough channels, no liners in the trash cans and there was numerous stains on the carpet that looked like blood and some even looked like semen. Needless to say, I work my footwear every all the time while in the room. the pool room did looked like it did need an updated, the coffee station wasn't available at night time, and the items at the snack shelf and fridge/freezer were a bit overpriced. Overall, this was a good hotel but nothing high end. I am not sure if I will be provided the opportunity to stay here again. However, if I do, it would be nice to see the changes made. Thank you :)

Overall my stay was very good. The staff were helpful and kind; check in/out process was easy in person and with app use; the building and rooms are clean. Event food was very good and a great selection. Some things that were challenging are the layout of the building -- the central hub is fine but the long corridors to rooms can be daunting to navigate at the end of a tiring day. I did request (and receive) a room closer to the front to alleviate this issue. Also, the room toilets are very low and are difficult to maneuver if one's physical strength is not 100%. All in all, I enjoy this hotel. It was not my first visit and it will not be my last.

My only issue was the insane and erratic behavior of the overnight manager named, Todd. We were in town this past weekend for a hockey tournament in which we had downtime and late night games. The one evening I notice my 14yr and his two friends being spoken too by this adult male. When I ask what was going on, he says they can't be running around the hotel which they weren't doing, and he tell me he is going to call the police if they don't go back to their rooms which I laughed at. This person never identified himself until I asked him who he was. He then tells me he is the manager and his name which was Todd. I take my kid to our room which ended the night. I find out the next day other parents experiences the same thing only to find out one parents child had taken property taken from them which a father had to take their property back from Todd. I let the front desk know of this interaction and how angry I was the next morning when checking out, only to find out this Todd person is leaving this property on Wednesday. I guessing he didn't care what his behavior caused since he is on his way out. Hotel was clean and the front desk was nice.

GGuest UserExcept for a bit noisy on the side of the road, everything else was good and the breakfast was very rich! The room has microwave, refrigerator, induction cooker, tableware, you can cook your own! Convenient transportation, opposite the train station and bus station.

GGuest UserWhen we arrived almost 2 hours past our check in time we were told that our room wasn't ready. No apologies, just that it had been a busy night. We were told it would be another 30-45 minutes. We sat in the lobby for 20 minutes before we had the idea of leaving our things behind the desk and heading out into town to wait. When I asked the front desk person about holding onto our things, he checked his computer and said, ”Oh, your room is ready!” Not sure he would have said anything to us if I hadn't asked. I asked to speak with the manager about receiving a discount on our room and was told he was in a meeting. He handed me the manager's card which I called and left a message. I explained my situation and told him I looked forward to speaking with him in the near future. He never called back and we never received any type of discount or acknowledgement about our situation. Bad service and shame on a manager for not having the guts to call and speak with me.

GGuest UserI have stayed in at least 20 residence inn’s along with several Hampton Inn Homewood suites courtyard in Fairfield inn I am a diamond Hilton member and a gold Marriott member. Yes residence inn would not deliver extra sheets and blanket for the pull out sofa which was unmade they did not have extra pillows besides the two pillows on the king bed. We had to go to the lobby to get the bedding. Room had no USB ports anywhere. The oatmeal at breakfast was terrible very watered down although the second morning it was better they had no salt and pepper the first morning and when I asked for some they brought one package of salt to the table for three adults they did not bring any pepper the milk was a gallon of 1% or a gallon of skim milk I think the book “big big fat lie is“ is correct so I want whole milk if you want one percent or 2% you can mix that with skim. The next day they served only skim milk and 1% hard to make high fat content with that which is healthier for you arteries and your diabetes. I am a physician who stays up-to-date not somebody who believes in the big fat lie from General Mills in the American Heart Association from the 1960s. The second morning they had one grinder of salt and pepper instead of individual packages. It did not produce fine graded salt and was not a sanitary is the individual packages. So overall it is still a residence inn and in my opinion better than a lot of other hotels but because of service I would have to read it worse one of the worse places I have stayed in out of the ones mentioned. And a double the price it is far worse than “Americas best value hotel“ a new chain that I haven’t yet found in the east

GGuest UserI had to postpone my review to put aside the emotions of the weekend. After arriving at the hotel late in the evening following my husbands brothers funeral and service. Finding no parking, we were told by reception to use a handicap spot. We had stayed at this Courtyard years ago and chose it knowing it had been newly renovated. The hotel lobby was inviting and modern decor filled the lobby. We checked in and went to our 4th floor room. Ready to go to sleep as soon as we could, we found there was no soap to get washed up. Then pulled back the covers to find that our bed was missing sheets. 3 -4 calls later, after the wrong size sheets were delivered twice, we finally got soap and the correct sheets. We had to make our own bed at 11:30pm. Then found a tick in the sheets. The next morning we made coffee… well, 1 cup. The coffee pot stopped working after the first cup was made. It seemed to have over heated. I skipped the shower after my husband reported finding hair wrapped around the shampoo dispenser. This hotel needs some quality control.

GGuest UserWhen I checked in I was told I was a gold a member but never received any perks for being a gold member. The TV didn’t work. I called to the desk to report it and was left on hold. No one came back. The next morning I reported it again and was told it would be fixed by the time I got back. Was gone 8 hours and tv still not fixed. I had to call down again and get really firm. Went out to dinner and when I got back I had different tv with the same dirty remote and it did t work to program the tv so had to go up to the tv to change the channel and volume. The bathtub had hair in it when I went to take a shower. I’ve stayed here a couple of times before but they don’t have to worry about me ever staying here again.
