Travelodge Worcester

Staying here for business for a few months now and Kate on reception along with her sister are a credit to the travelodge business. Friendly helpful and excellent work ethics. But all the staff I have came in contact with are excellent and can not fault.

This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. From start to finish, it was awful! No wheelchair access: The lifts from the car park were broken, and every single one had steps leading up to them. Dirty public areas: The cleanliness was shocking throughout the hotel. Terrible breakfast: Dirty cutlery, a plate covered in food spills, veggie sausages that were hard as rocks, a broken toaster, watery juice, and filthy cups. I only ate there once and immediately went to one of the great restaurants next door, which was the same price but much better! No accessible toilet: There wasn’t an accessible toilet in the breakfast area or the bar. Broken staircase door: The door to the staircase was either broken or took forever to open because the key card reader was faulty. Awful Room: The beds felt like children's beds, the room smelled of smoke, the bathroom was in bad shape, the water pressure was terrible, and the toilet wouldn’t even flush properly. If you use a wheelchair, don’t be fooled by their "accessible rooms" — this place is not suitable at all.

On arrival , although we were given a friendly reception the staff seemed stretched and overworked. We have stayed numerous times at this hotel but noticed a large decline in standards. The lift was out of order throughout our 2 night stay, the corridors and stairwells were soiled dirty and not vacuumed. The room was not serviced or replenished after our first night which was very disappointing. On the whole although the staff were friendly and helpful this hotel seemed in rapid decline.
