The excellent staff made our stay enjoyable and comfortable!! We felt very welcomed here. Our little dog was also treated with great dignity! The room was large and very clean! There were no hairs in the bathroom. There were two clean trash cans in the room that had trash liners. The linens on at least one of the beds were clean and fresh. The room had been renovated but was a little bit worn. However it was very clean!!! There was some construction work at night on a nearby road but the wifi was excellent and I was able to stream relaxing music all night to cover the noise from the nearby construction. The building and the lobby are really beautiful. There were a few things that were under repair, like plumbing for the breakfast and lobby coffee but the staff handled it wisely and came up with great solutions!! I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed in a one bedroom ”suite” with the most disgusting bath/ shower. When I complained/ asked for a new room, I was told that all the baths are the same because Auburn has hard water, so they just paint over the rust... If this is what the bath in a suite looks like, I would hate to see the other rooms.

I stay at this well run and comfortable property often while visiting family nearby. Excellent location. Well laid out rooms with modern updates—-charging plugs, easy to use large LG TV, microwave. Excellent complimentary breakfast—-look for the microwavable wrapped breakfast sandwich biscuits in the fridge. The staff are friendly and helpful. Victor at the front desk is always personable. Very quiet rooms. Thank you Assistant General Manager Serkan Askin for your personal attention working with my bookings.

Very nice hotel. I booked this place specifically for the complimentary Wednesday evening social and it was disappointing after I checked in to find out they weren’t offering the social that night. There was no heads up when booking and even after I checked into the room (before I inquired with the front desk about the evening social) I had a “welcome bag” in my room that said on it that they offer complimentary evening socials every Wednesday, said nothing about that they weren’t doing it this week. Another complaint was house keeping was knocking on our door at 8 am trying to enter to clean the room. We were still asleep and they tried to enter the room, thankfully we had the extra lock on the door, about 45 minutes later, before 9 am, house keeping came knocking again trying to clean the room and we even had the do not disturb sign out for this time around. Check out wasn’t until 11 or 12 and we didn’t check out yet! I have never had this happen before. The breakfast was good, the room was nice and clean. They had a pool, outdoor area, little basket ball court, EV charging (for fee).

Overall my stay was very good. The staff were helpful and kind; check in/out process was easy in person and with app use; the building and rooms are clean. Event food was very good and a great selection. Some things that were challenging are the layout of the building -- the central hub is fine but the long corridors to rooms can be daunting to navigate at the end of a tiring day. I did request (and receive) a room closer to the front to alleviate this issue. Also, the room toilets are very low and are difficult to maneuver if one's physical strength is not 100%. All in all, I enjoy this hotel. It was not my first visit and it will not be my last.

This was a decent hotel for most to stay in for a few nights. I thought the lobby was nice, the front desk staff were nice, and the rooms were not bad. For the room: The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice with a decent shower, the desk had a nice set up, and the TV had some good channels on it. I did not check out the pool area due to lack of time but it looked decent as well. My favorite part though was he continental breakfast. I enjoy the large spread of breakfast items offered such as: Muffins, Bagels, Toast, Cereal, omelets, oatmeal, sausages, and the great waffle bar. All great stuff and both of the staff on that did a wonderful job. However, the not so good things regarding this hotel overall were: Pillows were too fluffy to get comfortable, yes there is a such thing. Pillows should be like boobs, not too soft, not too firm, but in the middle enough to review a good level of comfort, the tub in the showers not big enough, the TV did not provide enough channels, no liners in the trash cans and there was numerous stains on the carpet that looked like blood and some even looked like semen. Needless to say, I work my footwear every all the time while in the room. the pool room did looked like it did need an updated, the coffee station wasn't available at night time, and the items at the snack shelf and fridge/freezer were a bit overpriced. Overall, this was a good hotel but nothing high end. I am not sure if I will be provided the opportunity to stay here again. However, if I do, it would be nice to see the changes made. Thank you :)
Guest rooms feature the Hyatt Grand beds, state-of-the-art media and work center with a high-definition 42-inch flat panel HDTV that easily integrates with laptops, a comfortable cozy corner L-shaped sofa-sleeper, wet-dry bar and bathroom vanity with granite countertops. Enjoy comp wireless high-speed internet. Complimentary breakfast.

My only issue was the insane and erratic behavior of the overnight manager named, Todd. We were in town this past weekend for a hockey tournament in which we had downtime and late night games. The one evening I notice my 14yr and his two friends being spoken too by this adult male. When I ask what was going on, he says they can't be running around the hotel which they weren't doing, and he tell me he is going to call the police if they don't go back to their rooms which I laughed at. This person never identified himself until I asked him who he was. He then tells me he is the manager and his name which was Todd. I take my kid to our room which ended the night. I find out the next day other parents experiences the same thing only to find out one parents child had taken property taken from them which a father had to take their property back from Todd. I let the front desk know of this interaction and how angry I was the next morning when checking out, only to find out this Todd person is leaving this property on Wednesday. I guessing he didn't care what his behavior caused since he is on his way out. Hotel was clean and the front desk was nice.

Do not stay at this location! Fraud had occurred on my card by the manager here! Staff members are dissed, honest, and rude beyond belief! Anytime I try to find the manager his staff with lie every single time about his whereabouts to me and my bank. Especially Patricia and Arina! Thankfully, all of the properties shenanigans were documented, and thankfully Marriott headquarters, and their corporate office put this fiasco to an end! Chris is by far the worst hotel manager I have ever encountered in my entire life! As far as the stay went, room was clean but had an incredibly small flatscreen TV. When I wanted to get breakfast in the bistro, nobody was actually there to serve food or cook anything. Staff was rude if you requested extra towels or any other toiletry items. Definitely not worth coming here at all if you’re in the area stay at Double Tree. Save your money and your credit card information for some other hotel, not to this place with a dishonest owner and staff who lie just as much as he does.

Excellent
GGuest UserThis day was comfortable. Staff was very courteous nice. The place was very clean and the location was perfect. A lot of great restaurants around with great food. Easy to get around location was downtown. Everything was easy to get to.
GGuest UserExcept for a bit noisy on the side of the road, everything else was good and the breakfast was very rich! The room has microwave, refrigerator, induction cooker, tableware, you can cook your own! Convenient transportation, opposite the train station and bus station.
GGuest UserEvery time I go to Worcester, this hotel is my favorite. Convenient parking, large hotel rooms, and good breakfast. You can have a very nice breakfast for 12 yuan.
GGuest UserI stayed in the Hampton Inn because of it's proximity to my doctors office. It was forecasted to snow and my doctor's appointment was absolutely necessary for me to receive my infusion of medication on schedule despite the forecasted snow.
The service I received was good although it began with some confusion about my bill. My reservation was prepaid but it took a while to find this information in the hotel's computer system. I had a restful evening and got to my appointment in the morning without incident and for this I am grateful.
There were a few issues that I think need to be addressed. First, ice was not available on each floor and there was no complimentary water in my room. I was disappointed with the unsatisfactory condition of the refrigerator and there was no recycling bin in my room. There was no handle or bar on the shower door to open the door after showering and there was no place to put my towel convenient to the shower stall once I was done. The toilet paper holder was awkward to use forcing me to remove the toilet paper from it and leave it on the sink.
These issues are minor in nature but cumulatively they made my stay below average for the price I paid. It was not horrible and no part of my stay was compromised but I have stayed at other Hampton Inns that were exceptional, which is why I chose this one for this important stay. I did have a choice of a Marriot equidistant from my doctor's office. In the future, if I am in need of staying overnight convenient to my doctor's office, I will give the Marriot a chance. Thank you for your attention to these issues and I am hopeful that they are addressed to make the stay of other travelers exceptional.
The hotel is in a quiet area, and is the closest of the chain hotels to the University of Massachusetts T.H. Chan Medical School. The hotel is relatively new and the staff is excellent. But be aware, the Residence Inn Worcester houses both homeless parents with their children, and refugees. This puts quite a burden on the cleaning and the breakfast staffs. Rooms are cleaned only upon request and guests must take out their own trash. The business center's lone computer is occupied most of the day. Of course, the State of Massachusetts doesn't pay anything close to rack rate for these guests, so others effectively subsidize the less fortunate. Just consider it good karma.
NNANParking is free, on the ground. Breakfast is very simple, Western-style, scrambled eggs, patties, thick cereals, baked potato pieces, juice, bread, fried eggs, can be self-service at a single point. It is a style of American family, the facilities are not bad, but it is not a style with domestic hotels. The location is OK, basically in the university. It’s enough for me, not a vacation.
Carpets and bedding musty and lumpy, broken lamps, worn furniture -- everything in the room seemed 30 years old and unloved. Tiny cramped bathroom, with minitub, soap and shampoo in refillable pump bottles mounted on shower wall as at a gym, that pull off and fall into tub when you try to use them (and hardly seems sanitary that every guest has their hands all over them). Below freezing cold outside but a/c was blasting frigid air, controls and on/off switch on a/c-heating unit not functioning, wall temperature control box not operable by guest. The room seemed like housekeeping had not been in it since several months before in summer -- how else would nobody have noticed the a/c blasting frigid air before February? Ended up trying to block the icy blast from the a/c blower by covering vent with towels, bedspread, but not successful. Jacuzzi spa was completely drained and bone dry -- with strips of moldy duct tape stretch across it like a giant asterisk -- that duct tape looked pretty old and discolored, as if placed there a long time before: ”Oh, we're waiting for a part,” says the desk. Right. Pool looked fine but was closed: ”Oh we're down for maintenance.” ”Oh we're waiting for the inspector.” When paid-in-advance customer opines they chose the hotel for pool and jacuzzi, is told by desk, ”We'll refund one night from your bill.” A total lie. Despicable: charging for facilities and services they've no intention of providing, lying to customer re refund just to stop them from demanding what they paid for. This place effectively has no pool and no jacuzzi, and negligent maintenance altogether. Oh and the ”breakfast available” will set you back about $20 per person with tax. They display bottles of water prominently in the room, but fine print on the label warns they are only ”free” if you first pay a hefty rewards program membership fee. $50 per night ”incidentals fee” swiped from your credit card on check-in, I guess in case you drink of the forbidden water. I cannot comprehend the level of pettiness in the corporate boardroom when policies creating this nickel-and-dimey guest-hostile operation were decided. It is beyond cheap, it is beyond a clip joint: it is fraud. Was in town for events, so no time or energy for the distraction of acting as unpaid consultant to this absolute disaster of a company -- incompetence plus bad attitude all around -- the antithesis of hospitality. Must to avoid.
