The cry that the Country Pub is dead needs to be revisited in the light of my delightful experience of having eaten there yesterday. Lower Broadheath is where Elgar was born. The Dewdrop is in perfect harmony with his music. The menus fully accommodate just about every taste- it would be difficult not to find something to satisfy even the most particular of tastes. But more important the presentation is excellent. The service was exemplary (thank you Laura)and this is not always easy when the restaurant is quiet as it was this Monday lunchtime. It is often easier when you are busy but everything was provided brilliantly. The Dewdrop is living evidence of the Country Pub being very much alive and long may it remain so!

Really lovely pub and we enjoyed the food it was do good, but the lady who served us was very abrupt and it came across aggressive when adking for orders , it was disappointing as we took 2 of our friends there having told them it was great , and they identified it first when she asked for our orders . Will nor be going back which is a real shame

Stated with a family group and booked four of the rooms- all received a big thumbs up. We had lunch in the restaurant and the sandwiches were delicious. Extremely clean throughout, the rooms were well presented and good value for money. The evening meal was of excellent standard with a good choice of starters, mains and puddings. Would definitely return here and would thoroughly recommend.

Dear Azolo Can you believe it, we have known you for over 25 years. All those years you have been a fabulous host and have provided us with excellent service, food and beverages. Our visit today was for my 76th birthday. Everything was excellent, just as we would expect from you, thank you so much. The lunch menu was great, I could have chosen every item on the menu. Food great, service great, fabulous environment in a beautiful part of the Worcestershire countryside. Thanks again, and see you soon we hope. Pete and Rhona

I booked a twin room. I emailed the inn asking for a room on ground floor due to mobility issues. I did not receive a reply, so assumed my request would be granted. On our arrival we were given the ONLY upstairs room, which had steep stairs, and overhanging beams in the room, which we kept hitting our heads on. Also, the bathroom was very very small, no shelving for personal items, I could not take a shower it was so small. Bathroom could also do with an update. Had the Inn replied to my email that no downstairs room was available, I would have cancelled the booking.

A group of us stayed a couple of nights with a few old school friends in five of the rooms which were very nice. They were more than adequate for our needs and were spotlessly clean. We liked the beer which wasn't overpriced. We also eat in the restaurant two nights running and enjoyed some very good meals. The breakfasts were second to none, as in fact we're all of the staff. They were very polite, respectful of our (older person's) needs and very helpful. We would recommend this venue and would happily return.

From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. The rooms were spotlessly clean, well appointed, and the bed was really comfortable. For us, however, the jewel in crown was the restaurant. We had excellent food that was reasonably priced. It was a delight.

We had a family meal with six adults. We had 4 different mains and they all came out at the same time, piping hot. We have visited here on numerous occasions. The food is excellent, the staff are excellent, friendly and accommodating. We love the atmosphere at this inn. Our children have bought us vouchers to use here twice, which is brilliant

Went here with my wife for a drop of Sunday lunch while the little one was not around. There is a large car park for vehicles which was packed when we arrived. We had not booked but the venue fitted us in for lunch. We wondered if the place is now owned/managed by a Czech or Polish family. Anyway, we ordered the Sunday Lunch and I had a dessert of Cheesecake. The lunches cost about £24 for a two course and about £30 for a three course, but I may be wrong. Anyway, mw wife had the garlic mushrooms and I had the Salmon Mousse. The mushrooms came with a salad dressing while mine had a small slice of bread as an accompaniment. We then opted for the Beef dinner which came with some of the best meat we had seen for a long time, not fat anywhere. When my dessert of Cheesecake came it was not much thicker than an adult thumb but had Ice cream and some raspberries. The meal was fantastic and some of the best Sunday Lunch we have had for ages. In total we paid £72.50 which included a pint of shandy and a glass of Pepsi. Not been here before but glad to know that Sunday lunch is alive and kicking in Worcestershire. Further, glad to know that the owners recognise British tradition and cook it very well. The place must be a goldmine and all there's left to say is Thank you very much.
