Iam writing to express my disappointment following my recent stay at your establishment this past weekend. What was meant to be a relaxing break turned into an unpleasant and frustrating experience from start to finish. I initially booked my room on Tuesday via telephone. The lady I spoke to was abrupt and, after taking my surname and MVG card number, ended the call without any confirmation or courtesy. This left me uneasy, and when I followed up on Thursday to confirm the booking, I was informed that no reservation had been made. Fortunately, I was able to secure a room at that point, but the lack of professionalism during the initial booking was concerning. The issues, however, did not stop there. In the early hours of Saturday morning, the smoke alarm in another room went off not once, but eleven times after midnight, making it impossible to sleep. This disturbance was excessive, and no explanation or apology was provided. To add to this, in the early hours of Sunday morning at around 00:30, the guests in the adjoining room decided it was an ideal time to engage in what could only be described as a drunken choir practice, including a very loud rendition of Grease: The Musical. Due to the connecting room setup, the noise was amplified, and despite my best efforts to contact reception for assistance, no one answered the phone. After an hour of this, I had no choice but to address the matter myself, which only led to continued loud conversation and disruptions for another two hours. Altogether, the experience fell far short of the standards I expected, particularly as a loyal guest and MVG cardholder. I sincerely hope that these issues—poor customer service during booking, a malfunctioning alarm, and the lack of response from reception during a serious disturbance—will be taken seriously.
