We stopped here as there wasn’t anywhere else in Wooler to eat at 2.30pm (on a Saturday), we had wandered to try the food here for a while, but I wish I had waited for the chippy to open at 4pm. I had the fish and chips with a portion of onion rings, The fish I sent back at it was very over cooked as was the onion rings, they were also very very greasy, They also over garnish with parsley, coving all food including the fruit on My Husbands Ploughman’s lunch, he was also missing the cheese, when he asked for the cheese they then gave him a huge chunk, The apple on his lunch was covered in parsley only cut in half and still had the label on, the bread was also quite hard. Other than he enjoyed the rest. There was no vinegar ect on the table, On a good note the staff were friendly and apologised about the issues, but we were still charged full rate, which was quite expensive for fish and chips ect.
