Macdonald Bear Hotel
3.9/5101 Reviews
Great location, in the heart of high street of Woodstock and 10 minutes walk to the gate of Blenheim Palace. The room was spacious and super clean. You got all you need and you can request fresh milk from Reception for coffee or tea. Breakfast was fantastic.
Sturdys Castle

Booked for two nights while visiting Oxford, Woodstock and Blenheim Palace. The accommodation and location fitted the bill perfectly. Although out of Oxford we had good good routes to all our destinations and the Park and Rides were beneficial. Accommodation as expected - good standard. Dined there one evening - food good and well presented. All staff we encountered were: pleasant, friendly and helpful. Recommended - would book again.
Marlborough Arms

The room was established in 1496, but it is very close to Blenheim Palace, a small hotel suitable for family travel, breakfast is very good.
The Kings Arms

Although we have stayed at other Fullers Inns, this was by far the worst. The shower was old and sprayed water all over the place; something evident from the state of the bathroom that was not new. The towels and the room smelt of damp. Breakfast was shocking. As a vegetarian, I ordered avocado on toast, which was grey and the huge tomato chunks had clearly been in the fridge for an awfully long time!

The room condition was appalling ! Breakfast was good,
