A wonderful cozy house, with plenty of room - a very clean bed and bathroom. The breakfast was amazing, all local food... and when I say local... I mean the eggs are from their own chickens, the maple syrup is from their trees, etc. We have been here several times, and likely will stay again since we can ski at Killington right now the road. Highly recommend!!

The Farmhouse and property look like a movie set, truly lovely. I admired the barn while driving into Woodstock but didn't realize that it was the B&B. Tory has restored the property with excellent taste, and she shows tremendous warmth in describing the property and introducing the region. I highly recommend the Farmhouse Inn and look forward to my next stay.

My daughter, sister, Mom and I recently took our annual "Girls Trip" to Vermont. This year we stayed at the Farmhouse Inn B&B. We were greeted by Tory and given a little tour of the house and then shown to our rooms which were charming and clean and comfortable. There are a few common areas to sit and relax and the grounds of this farm are just wonderful! We had brought a bottle of wine, so we poured some glasses and took them to sit outside. We were greeted by Ben the (very friendly) dog. There are a few different places outside to sit and unwind. This place had a very peaceful vibe which I really liked. Tory and Barry cooked a wonderful breakfast in the morning. We had some amazing french toast, sausage and fruit....ohhhh and the coffee was delicious! My sister is actually lactose intolerant and just was planning on not eating breakfast, but Tory cooked her some eggs which was so nice of her! We would definitely stay here again, probably for longer than one night next time!

My wife and I just had our wedding there this past weekend and it was amazing. Tory and Barry (the owners) are super nice and very helpful. They have been doing this for years and know how to plan a wedding properly. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a barn wedding! Also, the guests that we had staying at the venue for the weekend loved it. They said they especially loved the food that Tory cooked.

It was as if we were visiting friends who had opened their home to us. The farmhouse exuded charm in every room and across the vast property. There are 3 nice areas on the first floor to curl up with a good book or work on a puzzle. Tory greeted us warmly and introduced us to the "family" of Ben, Tilly and Yuma while being so kind in acknowledging my allergies - she made sure we stayed in the third floor suite in which Tilly rarely ventures. Breakfasts both mornings were spectacular - home roasted coffee, fresh farm eggs, local cheese, sausage, fingerling potatoes home made banana bread and cream cheese - and that was just the first morning! Second morning we loved the pumpkin waffles and fresh fruit with honey and yogurt. All in all a gourmet experience. The room was quiet, lovely, spacious as was the bathroom. A vintage clawfoot tub was in keeping with the home's decor. The highlight was our last night there when we decided to get "take out" - and Tory offered us the use of the "white barn" - a separate building on the property with tables, chairs, utensils, heat (it was chilly) and a sound system - we had a great time with friends! It is evident that a lot of hard work goes into this inn and its property and pets. It takes real dedication and Tory makes it look easy!

The three, friendly goats were not supposed to greet us outside the inn. They had escaped from an enclosure and excitedly ran down a slight hill, their neck bells jingling. Tory, the owner, immediately appeared and gently herded them back up the incline. This was just one of many memorable moments at the Farmhouse Inn. A weekend in VT was not my idea and this bnb was not my first choice. So, I never expected to end up fantasizing about moving in. On the second night, our restaurant plans fell through. After a a simple, makeshift dinner I was washing plates in the old kitchen. Tilly, the gray, house cat, appeared and tapped her soft, white paws on the window above the sink. It felt so natural to stand on a wooden chair to let her in. Like I did it every day. Out on the grounds, we wandered by tall, sturdy trees and lilac bushes full of heart shaped leaves, all planted decades ago. In his barn stall, Yuma, the horse, gigantic and gentle, searched our palms for treats. Back home for a few days, I look at a photo of Tilly sprawled across a window table on top of our half done jigsaw puzzle. She dozes in the warm sun, and across the lawn, Yuma grazes in the green fields his thick tail slowly waving back and forth.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights, attending a niece's wedding. The red barn and white home grab your attention as you round the bend in the road. A very nice setting, back from the road and river. We had extended family also staying here and there were multiple places to visit both inside the home (main level) and outside, near barns, with chairs and picnic tables. We explored the barns, visited the goats, chickens and horse...and adored their friendly canine, Ben. The breakfasts were exceptional each day. Fresh fruit, homemade yogurt, bacon, pumpkin waffles, AMAZING home roasted coffee, fresh orange juice.. You'd have to experience it to believe it. The bedrooms were all upstairs, nice size, comfy beds, VERY clean, all equipped with bathrooms and air conditioning. We just left our window open and let the fresh air fill our room. They blend their own soft soaps and shampoos, towels were great for my 6'5" frame...our room was very nice and it had everything we needed. We throughly enjoyed the hosts, Barry & Tory. They felt like long lost friends. And treated us like family. Unexpected but totally added to our lovely wedding weekend. There is a bit of road noise, but this is rural Vermont, so how bad can it really be?! I do not write reviews like this very often...but I call it like I see/experience it. Your loss if you don't book this delightful place and meet these amazing people. Vermont's great!

I've been driving by and marveling at the "big red barn" for over 40 years and was delighted when my wife and I had a chance to stay during a recent trip to visit family in Vermont. So many of the reviews here capture the highlights and uniqueness of our own experience. At one point, I found myself just standing in the yard, looking at the house, the barn, the tree-lined drive, the vegetable garden, watching the hens, the goats, the horse, imagining that things probably haven't changed very much over the years.....a testament to Tory and Barry's stewardship and preservation of this property, in a day and age when too many things are being re-developed and "improved." We are so happy to have discovered this gem of an inn and will definitely be back again.

We stayed at the Farmhouse Inn for three nights near the holidays. Tory makes a phenomenal breakfast. The room was spacious and clean. We wandered aimlessly through the barn and enjoyed meeting the goats, hens, and horse. We also enjoyed the tea and cookies laid out in the common area, and the coffee, which we learned Barry roasts in the basement. Stop worrying about where you're going to stay near Woodstock and book it.
