The Reynolds Mansion is a lovely old home set in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the upper balcony and strolling through the garden. The mansion is well decorated with antiques and rooms are very quiet, clean and comfortable. Our hosts were very warm and welcoming and prepared delicious breakfasts that were varied and creatively presented. Highly recommend, look forward to returning!

My husband and I had a getaway to The Reynolds Mansion. We were greeted by Paul, the owner on the front porch of this lovely mansion with glasses of water and lemon. He was very polite and gave us a brief history, then escorted us to our room with a massive four posted antique canopy bed. The mansion with soft jazz music in the background, grand portraits and well- appointed gardens, takes you back to another time and place. The breakfast was absolutely amazing!! A wonderful respite from the hustle & bustle.

If you enjoy staying in historic homes like we do, then you will love The Reynolds Mansion. It is apparent that the current caretakers of this fabulous home has become a labor of love. We had an exquisite experience staying in the Miss Claudette room, surpassed only by the four course breakfast that's served each morning. We look forward to a return visit.

My wife and I enjoyed 3 awesome nights at Reynolds Mansion. It was a beautiful historic mansion in a great Asheville location that was very comfortable, clean and had beautiful gardens in a natural country setting. Each morning and evening we sat on the many porches around the mansion in comfortable chairs. Best of all was the property owner, Paul was a tremendous host and every day went out of his way to make sure you were comfortable and had what you needed. Additionally Paul is a top trained chef and served a fantastic formal breakfast each morning. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely stay at the Reynolds Mansion next time we are in Asheville.

This was a treat! If you're looking for an experience that blends positive human interaction with culinary artistry AND some intriguing history, too, you won't go wrong with a stay at the Reynolds Mansion. My hosts, Paul and Mirlin, were exquisite!! The warm hospitality, attention to detail, and care for the history of this place were noteworthy. They went the extra mile so many times for me: a late check-in, help with local recommendations, history lessons, help with internet, and the most spectacular breakfast you can imagine! I should also note, the other guests were fascinating! I hope to return to Reynolds Mansion soon. While I travel often, I rarely encounter hospitality of this caliber. Five stars, five stars!!

My husband and I booked a room for 3 nights at the Reynolds Mansion for my birthday, and our first trip to Asheville. The house and grounds are beautiful! The innkeepers were wonderful and made us feel right at home. Breakfast each morning was amazing! I will certainly come back to stay with them on our next trip to Asheville!!

Paul, Mirlin and Team provide more than an outstanding facility located on beautiful grounds, they deliver an immersive experience designed to make you feel welcomed and relaxed. They make every effort to greet you personally upon arrival, sharing the history of the mansion and illuminating you with everything you need to know to enjoy your stay. Attention to detail is of paramount importance; from impeccable standards for appearance, ambiance and cleanliness, to assistance with making fine dining reservations and providing information to help you plan your day. The four course breakfast served each morning is a culinary delight, which helps set the context for the rest of your day. We highly recommend The Reynolds Mansion to anyone visiting Asheville.

Paul and Mirlin are the most gracious and generous hosts. While we did not have an overnight stay, they welcomed us into their home for a special occasion as if we were old friends, although we were just meeting them for the first time. Even during my first phone contact with Paul, he was so hospitable. They are knowledgeable of the house's history and original family lineage, as well as the area. Both the inside and outside of the house are stunning, with extraordinary touches that lead you to feel as if you've stepped back in time. Don't miss an opportunity to spend time in this lovely, inviting home.

This was by far one of the most enjoyable Inns/Bed & Breakfast we have ever stayed in. Paul is a wonderful host. Greets you when you arrive with an ice cold beverage, and gives you a great overview of the property. The 4-course complimentary breakfast was not only delicious but a work of art! Exceptionally clean, well maintained, lots of thought has been given to what guests might like during their stay - fluffy towels, espresso/coffee machine in room, refrigerator - bathrobes for each guest and more! Love it and would highly recommend to others - and will find a way to get back there next year!!
