Very Pleasant stay. Place is centrally located - 5 mins away from the bus and train station. Staff are fantastic. Property is a bit old and is decent value for money.

Studio rooms were good, but hotel unit rooms were okay,they really need to improve & make changes,so the guest are more comfortable in staying.Room service was really slow & ok.House keeping service was good,Food was great & Rajan bhai served us really well in the restaurant during breakfast lunch or dinner with smile & really helpful.overall the stay was nice & good, climate was really great.

The resort is good. But it is located bang in the middle of the town which makes it noisy. Once you step out of the resort the town is filled with garbage and overflowing sewage. Being close to the commercial area, the only advantage is more food options if you want to dine out of resort, but believe me you are best being at the resort as the town is destroyed beyond imagination. Coming to the resort, it is standard club Mahindra, nothing more or less. A couple of things to note - 1) The rooms are a bit smaller than others 2) Not all rooms have views, there are some rooms with just a corridor and facing other rooms which I thought was unfair. At a hill station rooms with a view command a premium and you could have allowed guests to choose the same at the time of booking. I booked as soon as the booking opened and got a room without a view, and when asked they told me it was randomly allocated. I felt shortchanged on that count. 3) Dont miss the cycle tour. It is the best happy hub activity. It takes you away from the commercial centre to outskirts which is enjoyable and pleasant. 4) The food is good though the menu could do with more variety. Ooty, being the home of vegetables could have had more fresh vegetables on the menu. They separated the Veg and Non Veg items on the buffet which was very nice. 5) Drinking water is a bit of problem. They give in some flask which i was not sure how clean etc. i stuck to bottle water purchased. In ooty 1 lit and 2 lit water is not sold. Only 5 lit cans are sold. So take a spare water can with you. In the Club mahindra ooty derby green resort, I booked a cycle tour with Mr Akshay Kavi sir and the experience is just amazing. Both side nature ooty lake tea plantation area and much more.... Worth it at least once. The tour is for like 2 hours but they have electric cycle so there is not much need to peddle the cycle plus he will guide you ***** with historical knowledge.

F&B team lacks hospitality.. rooms are too small + nobody answer their desk phone.. specially restaurant team.. you have to go all the way to order.. Peak hours they keep their phones on silent.. Hospitality quotient ZERO.. same.was discussed with Murali at the desk..

Hospitality is the best part of club Mahindra Ooty Derby Green. Had good experience of cycling tour. Good maintenance of property by club Mahindra. Staff is cooperative. Great use of vacation time. As told, the property is 138 year old. Have a nice city and derby green field view.

Commit 237 mistakes in your life, but booking this hotel shouldn't be one of them. But still if you booked this then what might go well - let me tell you that first A. Beautiful view outside, pathways have beautiful flowers and it's Ooty this is class. B. Enough light in the room C. The buffet spread wasn't bad but decent and food was average not bad D. Bedsheet pillow were clean E. On the top of resort there's a Krishna temple so I loved this part. Now let me tell you what's wrong about this vis a vis what they charge: We booked this hotel for two nights, two adults and 8500 INR per night were charges 1. Worst internet connection with 800kb speed. Couldn't even open Netflix. Absolutely disgusting carpet in the room with a hole in the floor - see pic 2. No complimentary water bottle, no shoe bag, dental kit, hand towels, shaving kit provided in the room. They provided one hand towel shaving kit and dental kit on request. 3. Shower gel, hand wash, and shampoo all three had the same liquid. I too am shocked. 4. No tissue papers in the restaurant 5. During checkout despite requesting nobody came there to take our luggage. We had to take it to reception ourselves. 6. The staff seemed indifferent to the guests. However, one guy Niranjan Das in the restaurant was absolutely gem. Comparing with the standards this resort is maintaining in most aspects this guy was an exception. The same can go for Manoj on reception also. 7. TV had a local cable tv connection which had mostly regional channels Kannada, Tamil, Malyalam 8. Worst internet connection with 800kb speed. You can't even watch Netflix in here.

The best hospitality from club Mahindra and its staff. Great view and service. Dominic and Shudha from travel department did a great job in guiding. Rajen and other from kitchen were amazing servers. I would definitely recommend visiting this property again.
