Premier Inn Barnsley (Dearne Valley)

Comfortable and clean accommodation with welcoming staff. Good location .Dined in ‘The Social’ restaurant within the hotel and recommend it as the menu gives a good choice, the food is both well prepared and served and the staff are most pleasant.

Stayed to make a visit to a university easier. Really pleased we chose this location. Very easy to find, with friendly staff who catered brilliantly with allergies in the restaurant. Some work going on in the car park area but plenty of spaces. Room was hot but we stayed during a heat wave, so to be expected. No road noise even though its so close to major roads.

Comfy and clean room. Good restaurant and bar, "The social" Very helpful and friendly team. Booked the meal deal. Great value and good choice for dinner and breakfast.

Just returned from a one night stay at this hotel. I have to say we were really impressed. Our room was immaculately clean, the bathroom absolutely gleamed. Whilst not luxurious the room had everything we needed including a fan which was most welcome in the hot weather. The breakfast was tasty, well cooked and replenished as and when necessary. The staff were all very pleasant and a special mention goes to Katie the breakfast lady. She was cheery, efficient and a real joy to speak to. She was rushed off her feet but didn’t let it bother her, she still found time to have a little chat and a giggle. I hope they pay her well as she’s a great asset to the hotel. Will we return, most certainly . We have family in the area and it’s spot on for us.

This place is discussing and why is there 4 managers it only takes 2 one manger and one supervisor so why Amina Becky Paul all lie not good staff left me in wheelchair 4 3 days sometimes 7 at times with out emptying bins and replenishing rooms wrong

Nice accommodation and the service from KK was outstanding - she provided great service to our group for the evening meal and breakfast single handed. Thank you very much for a memorable stay!
