Check in after 6pm, no reception. Parking charges. I booked two rooms and one living room, but there was no quilt! Only the sheets! I called the customer service, and there was no staff in the hotel to send the quilt, but said that there was floor heating that turned on automatically, but we did not feel the heating, and it was frozen all night. Don't live here in the cold winter!

The location of the hotel is prefect for golfers. Stay was great, room very clean, spacious & all amenities are working fine. Hotel dining was fantastic. The food was delicious 😋 both for dinner & breakfast. Staff are welcoming & friendly. Service at the dining was fantastic, staff were friendly & their hospitality was awesome. Our breakfast event went so smoothly & the service from Liv was outstanding. We will be back for more events in the future.

I stayed with my family of five, in a 2bdr apartment for 5 days and we loved it! Great facilities, clean and had all the amenities stocked and replaced daily! Also such a great location as it’s right at the city and near the beach, so we could walk everywhere or catch the free shuttle bus around town. It’s the perfect stay place for families and the staff are super helpful and friendly too! Only downside is that sometimes the apartments next door were a little bit noisy at night but not too much. And also the wifi was a bit annoying as it kept turning on and off, but other than that it was great!

There are tables and chairs on the balcony, but the view is not good enough The service is super good, the service is very patient when calling the front desk, the light bulb broke when I went, it was very late at the time I came to fix it the next day, my attitude was super good and super patient

The location is very good, right in the city center, next to the church and the police station, a few steps away is the commercial street and places to eat. It is also within walking distance to the beach. The hotel seems to be a business hotel. Although the room is not big, it is very comfortable. You can work in the lobby on the first floor. The lobby is very large. It is also an Italian-style restaurant. Many people drink coffee in the morning. The front desk is very friendly. Due to the rain, we borrowed umbrellas a few times. On the last day, we also stored our luggage and had a good time at the hotel. It is also very convenient to go there from Wollongong Station. We walked to the hotel, and the bus should also be accessible.

The Coniston Hotel had a large, well appointed room with good amenities. The bed was very comfortable and there was a large screen tv. There is a large, free car park. The hotel’s bistro is very good. There is a good selection of well priced wines. The food is of a very high standard and the menu offers something for most tastes. The Spanish Garlic Prawns were a real delight and the Marinated Lamb Rump, served on a mushroom risotto, was also an excellent dish.

Check in staffs are not friendly. Actually they never have been. Have been going to this place for the last two years only because of the location and we have always noticed the unfriendliness of the staffs. They not helpful either. The bistro food and drinks are over priced and food isn’t nice either. We booked deluxe studio room which according to my booking the room has wardrobe/closet and bottled water and our room didn’t have any of that. It was a very basic room. Don’t trust the pics on website as it’s misleading. However, thumbs up for the location and peaceful environment. Staffs and management needs to listen to the reviews and change their attitude of running the hospitality business.
