First of all, let's talk about the location of this hotel. In the mountains of the Black Forest, it is currently off-season. It is possible that the hotel's facilities are not fully used. The WI-FI signal is sometimes absent. Maybe this is related to the floor of the room he gave me. The WI-FI signal on the second floor is very good, but the WI-FI on the third floor is really bad, almost equivalent to not having it. I changed two rooms. The hotel has a restaurant, but I’m sorry, their restaurant does not provide services, except for breakfast (available separately: 12 euros/person). In the evening, the temperature in the mountains is 5 degrees or lower. There is no heating in the room, so I called the reception desk, and the reception desk went out and was not available. After repeated pleadings, I finally opened it, and maintained the warmth for 2 hours. It was turned off between early morning and 6 a.m., and I caught a cold early the next morning; there was no electric kettle in the room, I wanted to go to the front desk for a cup of hot water, sorry, no! In the future, when booking hotels, especially Ctrip's overseas hotels, you must see the hotel facilities and the accuracy provided by Ctrip.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kirnbacher Hof, every aspect of the hotel was perfect, everything from the newly renovated hotel and rooms, to the sauna/lounge area, to the restaurant and right up to the showers (which were absolutely amazing, its a small detail, but it adds a lot to the experience). You can really see that the hotel is cared for. The rooms were spotless, and were very well designed, and made of high quality materials and the bed was amazing as well (we stayed in the junior suite). The rooms also had a stunning view of the valey form the balcony. The breakfast at the hotel is a perfect example of basic done well, nothing out of the ordinary, but everything made with great care and was delicious. The sauna area was great, with a great panorama, a great relaxing area, and a massage shower. The restaurant had amazing food (at good prices), everything we ordered was delicious, however the one thing that stood out above everything else was their “hanging tender” steak which was cooked perfectly, at the desired temperature (something not quite frequent in other restaurants), and we enjoyed every single bite. Finally, and this was perhaps the most important thing for us, every single staff member of the hotel was extremely helpful and always happy to help with anything, from suggesting walking paths to recommending good restaurants, really anything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to staying at Kirnbacher Hof again.

The sauna area was great, with a great panorama, a great relaxing area, and a massage shower. The restaurant had amazing food (at good prices), everything we ordered was delicious, however the one thing that stood out above everything else was their “hanging tender” steak which was cooked perfectly, at the desired temperature (something not quite frequent in other restaurants), and we enjoyed every single bite. Finally, and this was perhaps the most important thing for us, every single staff member of the hotel was extremely helpful and always happy to help with anything, from suggesting walking paths to recommending good restaurants, really anything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to staying at Kirnbacher Hof again.
