Really lovely place to stay, very peaceful and the room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious!

On arrival we were greeted by Len the owner he showed us to our room and it was beautiful . The room had a very comfy bed, best three nights sleep my husband had! mini fridge and comfy armchairs.a large bathroom too,there was also a balcony. Being on a single track not a lot of traffic so quiet and peaceful.The breakfast was good and filling .Husband loved the honey which Len makes from his own bees, we bought a jar to take home.5*. Barbara and Len were brilliant hosts and very welcoming. A fantastic view of the farmland and beyond.

When you try something a little bit different you often come across unexpected delights. Despite the glossy photos on websites this is an older property and the accommodation well presented but “older”. That said, the blinds, curtains, bedding and facilities were clean and very comfortable. The large room and attached bathroom are at the top of a steep stairway - large windows on 3 sides, perfect for the resident artist when he lived there (Giles - books and pictures surround you). The highlight was sitting with the delightful couple at breakfast enjoying a lengthy chin-wag! We enjoyed our time there.

Enjoyable overnight stay while visiting Sutton Hoo. Lovely open room with great views. Excellent breakfast and friendly and knowledgeable hosts.

I was staying in the ground floor room, which was very spacious as was the ensuite shower room. Nice touch of fresh milk in fridge. Wifi was okay. Got advice as to where to go for evening meal which was good. Great cooked breakfast. Lovely hosts.

Away for work
