The hotel is really well situated in a lovely quiet area but near to motorway. The room we had was lovely. Very spacious and comfortable. Breakfasts were good and the bar and garden area lovely for sitting in. Our first evening meal was included in our half board rate and was very good, the waitress was excellent. The second night was my husbands birthday so we upgraded to the more expensive dinner. This was a mistake, the starters were nice, but my lamb was cold and my husbands beef was tough. We asked for additional vegetables which were not provided, instead they removed the potatoes from the dish, so we asked again after the meat was served and it took some time for more vegetables to arrive, by which time we had eaten the cold/tough meat! So some aspects excellent and others definitely average
