Townhouse Wismar

The hotel has a super location right on the market. For a good night rest I would recommend a room in House 2, right behind and then out behind. Our room was 605 and we were very happy with it. The rooms are well equipped, modern, cozy and are sufficiently large. Breakfast offered a very good variety. Most of all the small extra card offers interesting little things. What we clearly missed on the breakfast buffet: smoking fish. For Wismar actually a scandal ;) The staff was super friendly and helpful. We felt very well and welcome and would come back in any case.
Park Inn by Radisson Wismar

The hotel only provide 1 pillow which is not so comfortable. Waiting line at the reception is quite a long wait. The A/C in the room is quite warm. The room size is good and good lighting in the room with a huge TV. Breakfast is great with nice choices and good quality. Unfortunately the reception would like to charge us more than they should. Luckily we checked the booking confirmation and realize that the reception tried to charge us much more than we should pay.
Wonnemar Resort-Hotel

The hotel is not a hingucker optically, but inside it was very airy and light. It was irritating the long deployment into a long set of rules when checking in. In the epical width, very unusual and strange. Unfortunately, two people in our group failed to book their breakfast time window and they did not receive any of them. A misunderstanding at the reception led to a person from our group who checked in late, not getting the booked room anymore and no other, as the hotel was booked. Here we would have wanted more support in search of an alternative. The situation was not very professionally solved. The rooms were generous and offered everything you need. Practical, functional, no snack, something anonymous. Breakfast was unfaithful. In the evening, it was quite brusquely pointed out that there would be no drink at the bar only one or five minutes later. No cocktails ( Gintonic???). A little was mediated the feeling of ”customer threats with order”. At room prices free parking would be appropriate.
Stadthotel Stern

Very charming small and dog-friendly hotel with perfect central location. Warm atmosphere, great service and very friendly staff, particularly Mr Ivanov at the front desk who was very kind and helpful - and English speaking. Large room, comfortable bed although I missed a selection of softer cushions. The hotel has a car park, but if there is no available space there is a parking garage just a couple of blocks away, or if your lucky (as we were) you can find a parking spot in the street just in front of the hotel. Excellent breakfast. We were travelling with our quite big dog, and dogs were welcome in the breakfast room and the restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel.
Wyndham Garden Wismar

The hotel is located two kilometres outside Wismar. The car is required to the centre 15 minutes. The OpenV is not recommended. Recommended for meetings and group trips or for excursions to the surroundings. The surrounding area itself has nothing to offer. The hotel is located on the edge of the industrial area without ambience. The hotel itself is perfectly in order and corresponds to the description. The pool even offers the possibility to swimming, the price level for services on the site is ok. The staff is friendly. Only the business policy of the house is dissuasive. For the parking place at the noon, 5 euros per day will be charged. Currently, a energy rate of 3 euros per night will be charged. This will not be communicated at the booking or check-in. Only when check-out this fee is charged. Because it is arbitrary and not communicated, the overall impression of the house is significantly affected. An interest in the guest is not detected.
