Wir waren nur 1 Nacht und demzufolge können wir nicht alles beurteilen. Die Zimmer sind klein, sauber und Zweckmäßig eingerichtet, allerdings hätte ich mir ein etwas härteres Bett/Matratze gewünscht. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls sehr gut und es ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Ein großer Minuspunkt ist der extrem enge Bereich, wo die Eier/Omletts zubereitet. werden. Während die Eier zubereitet werden entsteht eine große Warteschlange und dadurch ist fast das komplette Buffet blockiert und man muss sich ständig durch drängeln, oder wartende Leute fragen, ob sie einem mal eben irgend etwas rüber reichen können. Das Personal ist sehr nett und man wird zwischendurch gefragt ob alles OK ist. Die Lage des Hotels ist ruhig und leicht außerhalb, aber trotzdem ist ”das Stadtzentrum” in wenigen Gehminuten zu Fuß erreichbar

GGuest UserThe hotel has everything to be a good quality four-star hotel, but unfortunately the service of the staff spoils everything... We had booked a triple room for 2 adults and a child of 9 years old. Upon arrival, there was double bed and a baby bed in our room, a mistake of housekeeping. Of course, that can happen, but after more than 2 hours of waiting, still no solution was offered. In the end we took action OURSELVES and we moved a third bed from another room to our double room so that our daughter had a place to sleep. We also had to ask for a towel package for her. This didn't come automatically either. The next problem we encountered was dinner. When we signed up the first night, we weren't in their reservation system. After fifteen minutes of waiting, they found us in their system and we were assigned a table. Once we arrived at the table, we had to wait 25 minutes for our aperitif. They had forgotten to serve our main courses and the waiter came up with dessert after the starter! Everything went haywire and none of the waiters understood German or English. The hotel really lacks skilled staff. If they would take the effort to invest in their staff, it would make a world of difference. We noticed that there are only 3 capable waiters in the restaurant: a balding man, a German woman and a blonde woman who only works in the morning. On some days, there is also a bigger older man walking around and thinking he is in control. But nothing could be further from the truth! When he is present, everything is chaos! That man is really an expert at 'pretending to work'. The whole time he is walking back and forth in the restaurant and occasionally he takes a plate from a table. If such a man were to be replaced by a competent guy, the service would run a lot smoother. Furthermore, housekeeping also leaves much to be desired. Our room was not cleaned all week. The bedding was also not changed. We had the misfortune that the snow was melting, and that sometimes there was some mud hanging on our boots, which fell off in our room. This mud was not cleaned up throughout the whole week. According to the website and the signposts of the hotel there is also a kids club. This is incorrect hotel information because in reality it doesn't excist. As a result, children are causing havoc in the lobby. There are also children running in and out of the restaurant all the time. This is all tolerated by the staff as well. I must say that the accommodation itself has been nicely renovated. The location is also great, next to the ski slope. It's really unfortunate that the staff messes it up like that. You also notice that it doesn't matter how the guests experience their stay since they don't even ask if everything is going as they wish, not even when people check-out. Accommodation gets 4/5, service 2/5.

GGuest UserEmpfang/ Erster Eindruck: Anfänglich war die Rezeption mehr als freundlich (danke für den Parkplatzhinweis). Allerdings änderte sich dies nach Schichtwechsel. Man fühlte sich des Abends eher unwillkommen. Location: Das Hotel liegt sehr nett am Rande von Alt Astenberg. Direkt hinter dem Haus sind mehrere Wanderwege. Die Ski-Lifte sind ebenfalls gut zu erreichen. Im Hotel selbst wurde zum Zeitpunkt unserer Anwesenheit noch an der ein oder anderen Stelle modernisiert. Dies empfanden wir nicht störend und lässt für das Haus auf bessere Zeiten hoffen. Zimmer: Leider hatten wir ein Standard Doppelzimmer (ohne schöne Aussicht, welche aber auf dem Buchungsportal versprochen wurde). Das Zimmer war sauber und mit Standardmöbeln eingerichtet. Leider war das Zimmer beim erstmaligen Betreten eiskalt (gegebenenfalls wegen Corona-bedingtem Lüften). Dies war sehr unangenehm, aber die Heizung funktioniert schnell. Das Bad war ebenfalls sauber. Die Dusche war sehr geräumig. Leider war die Matratze im Bett ungeeignet zum Schlafen. Das empfanden wir als No Go für ein „Drei Sterne Haus“. Eher 0815. Gegebenenfalls sollte man ein besseres Zimmer buchen. Oder ein anderes Hotel, wenn man auf einen erholsamen Schlaf Wert legt. Essen: Wir hatten Halbpension (Frühstück und Abendessen). Das Frühstück wurde in einer „Corona-konformen“ Umgebung serviert. Große Halle mit ausreichend Platz. Das Buffet wurde auf verschiedene Inseln verteilt. Bedeutete zwar längere Wege, entzerrt aber alles ein wenig. Gut. Das Essensangebot war ok. Hervorzuheben war das Rührei. Das Abendessen bestand aus einem Vier Gänge Menü (mit Fleisch, Fisch oder Vegetarisch als Hauptgang). Die Speisen waren rundum lecker und zu empfehlen. Wer kein HP bucht, kann Abendessen in einem extra A La Carte Restaurant im Hotel bestellen und zu sich nehmen. Auch diese Zweiteilung entzerrt die Situation. SPA: Leider haben wir das SPA nicht direkt genutzt. Es sah aber grundsätzlich einladend aus. Im Zimmer befindet sich eine Tasche mit Badetüchern. Bademantel und Badelatschen sind an der Rezeption erhältlich. Sehr nette Idee. Personal: Der Service zum Frühstück, Abendessen und in der Bar war sehr gut. Danke an das schwer arbeitende Personal! Man war stets bemüht und immer freundlich. Leider hatten wir den Eindruck, dass ein oder zwei Mitarbeiter mehr besser wären. Die ein oder andere Wartezeit war nicht dem Personal geschuldet, sondern gegebenenfalls dem Management. Fazit: Der Service war in den Restaurants vollumfänglich sehr gut. Weiter so. Da ein angenehmes Schlafen aber nicht möglich war und das Schlafen in einem Hotel wohl eigentlich das primäre Ziel ist, kann ich das Haus zur Zeit nicht empfehlen (und mein Rücken noch weniger, aber vielleicht mein Chiropraktiker). Sicherlich hat das Haus Corona-bedingt Umsatzeinbußen gehabt, aber an Personal und Schlafkomfort sollte nicht gesparrt werden.
