Too stinky. Dirty bed frame damaged furniture never go back

Once we entered the lobby and checked in we went up a flight of stairs where there was a pile of debris, our room was at the end of the hallway. The room was old and run down. The sink legs were bent and there were no face clothes. The bed spread had numerous burn marks and no light bulb in the lamp. There were napkins behind the night table. The chair was stained too. We had stayed one night but asked for a refund for the next two nights because my father passed and we needed to leave Winnipeg. We couldn’t get it back. This was not a recommended place.

The entire hotel room smelled of cigarette, did not have a remote control for the television in our room, only limited to one room key no matter how many guest. (Makes no sense). Wifi was also very poor quality. The room seems unmaintained, and outdated. Need repairs and renovations. Very noisy outside our room (103).

I wouldn't even give them one star. I had a horrible experience. The beds were dirty and had been slept in because full of a woman long black hair. The blankets had burn holes. The counters were filthy. If my dad wasn't dying in a hospital bed I would have left but couldn't find hotel close to the hospital. When I asked for new sheets brought them up an after I was exhausted and ready for bed. Then I had to make bed myself. Showerd in the morning to find the towels were full of hair too. They don't give refunds or reduced price after horrible experience. When I went to the counter to check out after I had just received phone call that my dad had died. All he kept telling me was to stop crying. No respect at all for them. A total dump!
