Excellent hotel. Great value for the price. Breakfast has a large varity, and the staff were extreamly helpful with recommendations with restaurant suggestions and with things to do. Its a nice safe place with loads of ammentities in and around the area!

It should be a nice neighbourhood, but the outside of the hotel is as sketchy as anything downtown. The front door was locked when we arrived in the early evening, making me think this is a dangerous place and probably my car is going to be broken into overnight. Clientele hanging around the lobby and out front add to the feeling that this is a lower-rent hotel than I thought it would be. The whole vibe was more McLaren Hotel than Hotel Fort Garry, if you know what I mean. I would have slept better if I had spent the extra money to stay elsewhere.

Very pleasant girl to check in, couldn’t get warm water in the shower, the heater was so load vibrating from a loose grill that we couldn’t use it. When I told staff about the problems upon checkout they weren’t too concerned, was told they were sorry and that was that

The hotel was in the perfect location for us, as we had a vendor market the next day about 2km away. How ever, the beds were comfortable, but very creaky and loud as soon as you rolled over. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. The breakfast area is much too small and congested. Waiting in line for almost 15 minutes because someone is in the corner making a waffle or toast. Can't get to the bowls and get cereal because the corner has someone in it.

Nice accommodations for the price. My room was quite warm and had a food smell upon entry, but clean otherwise. Staff was very nice.

There was no place to park when we arrived. The location is inconveniently located and does not have appropriate number of parking spots. Extremely frustrating after driving all day.

When I entered the front area, a ‘security guard’ who had no form of identification called me a dick to his co worker. He thought I couldn’t hear it. I let him know that I didn’t appreciate being called a name and he said ‘I didn’t say it to your face’ like that would make it better. He was very rude and should not be working in a position of customer service. Unbelievable

Was there for a family funeral. Over 20 adults attended. Staff allowed us to bring in swan pizza and kfc and have family gathering in the breakfast area. Was so nice to be able to visit in one area! Breakfast could have some jam or peanut butter for the toast or cream cheese for the bagels. Rooms were clean, lots of water pressure. Was a good stay for a low rate motel.

Parking is a little tricky in the evening because the tap room adjacent to the hotel is so busy but it is very safe
