Although bedding was clean, the shower did not work. I was going to say something, but after reading other reviews, I thought it would be pointless. In this case, you Really can judge a book by its cover

This hotel is not the worst place I have stayed, but I am definitely used to better. The sheets and towels were clean, and the a/c worked. The room seemed fairly clean, but in the bathroom there were stains along the baseboard from bug spray, and a few dead bugs on the floor. The outside doors to the rooms have been boarded over. The pool and hot tub are “Out of Order -Indefinitely”. There is a chicken coop in the parking lot, holding 2 hens and a rooster. The overall atmosphere of this hotel is dark and depressing.
