Excellent. Friendly service, excellent bedroom, and superb food. Fully recommend and great location for exploring the Kent peninsula. Very good outside patio area and comfortable lounge area. Excellent value and well worth a visit. ******

We were staying for a friend’s special birthday function with lunch, supper and breakfast, all of which were good. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, courteous, attentive helpful making the whole experience most enjoyable.

This was our second visit enjoyed our stay the room was large but comfortable beautiful furniture the bed was 1st class the shower was a good size. The meal was excellent and we couldn't fault the staff. Breakfast was good we look forward to coming again.

Visited on a whim especially after seeing £200 for db&b for a double room. Rooms are fine with very comfortable beds, which is so important. The food in the restaurant was interesting and well cooked and presented - also most of the menu was available on the deal with just a few pounds to pay for the most expensive items (£3 plus for a £18 appetiser). We had to go on a diet after eating 3 courses for 2 nights running! My husband enjoyed the choice of beer whilst I was happy with the selection of wines by the glass, especially the wine of the month, a lovely Chablis.

...didn't disappoint. The welcome we received on arrival was warm and friendly, and every item of food throughout our 3 day stay was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Thank you to all the staff we met during those days for making our stay so good

A beautiful hotel, a perfect cosy pub with ample seating & cosy open fire. We had dinner at the hotel and it was absolutely amazing. We didn’t think we could manage breakfast, but the vast variety of food available, we couldn’t not! Again another delicious meal. Our room was perfect. The staff were so attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. We can not wait to return!

Excellent service and quality food. Great food experience. Great staff. Nice comfortable rooms. Lovely pub atmosphere. Parking and village location. Pub top 50 excellent choice will return this summer. Menue to enjoy by everyone and families.

Great stay, staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. The three course meal was fantastic and breakfast. Hotel very clean and a great atmosphere, I would definitely visit again. Our children bought this for Christmas and the price was very good.
