3-Star Hotels in Windsor

I have stayed here a few times for business. It is walking distance to the river where there is a nice trail to walk around. Check in was a breeze & the woman at the front desk was kind and helpful. The hotel is very clean and well kept. The gym is your average hotel gym with limited equipment but gets the job done. This time around I had a room that faced the street, and laughed at the ear plugs on the night stand.. but I could definitely see needing them as the rooms that face the street can be loud. Previously I always had rooms that looked over the tunnel entrance and never had any sound issues. There is now a Starbucks attached to this hotel - which is a nice touch. Parking is awkward but I believe they are doing construction. Be careful going up or down the ramp as the red and green lights are not accurate for oncoming traffic. This is the place I like to stay in Windsor - there are many food options nearby.

I had read the reviews -- so many reviews raving about Stonecroft Inn -- and wondered if they were all genuine. I decided to take a chance on staying at Stonecroft Inn for 4 nights and I was so glad I did! We had minimal interaction with people working at the inn, but the encounters we did have were all pleasant and helpful. Our room was large and updated. It included a very comfortable king-size bed, a small sofa and a coffee table; a desk with comfortable chair; a cabinet that consisted of 3 drawers and an enclosure for a small fridge; and a moveable ottoman. The tv was large enough to be viewed from the bed or from the sofa. There were plenty of lamps and outlets. The room-darkening curtains were very effective. The bath area was divided into a sink area with a large mirror and then a tub/shower and toilet. This area, too, was updated and included all that we needed including plenty of towels and a hair dryer. And even though our room fronted on a busy street, we never really heard traffic noise. Based on the large number of vehicles in the parking lot, it appeared that the inn, understandably, enjoyed a great deal of repeat business. Breakfast was included but we did not partake. The lobby and our room were all very clean. I would definitely stay at the Stonecroft Inn again.

My son's hockey team booked for a long weekend here for a hockey tournament. The week of our family contracted covid and were unable to attend. Our friends cancelled our Thursday and Friday reservation in person for us without any issue but left the Saturday night in the hopes that we would feel better and be able to attend. Unfortunately we were still sick on Saturday and spent the entire day trying to call and get a hold of the hotel. The phone went unanswered all day. We finally received a phone call asking if we were going to check in and when I explained the situation they responded that we would be charged but they would send a message to their GM and we should receive a call on Monday. Monday came without a phone call from the GM, so I went and sent an email to the GM once again explaining the situation and asking for a phone call. Tuesday I called and finally was able to leave a phone message with the GM who finally called back Tuesday morning! He said he ”looked into it” but there was nothing he could do. There was absolutely no willingness to understand our situation. There was no willingness to try to help us out in any way. The hotel was full and therefore we will be charged was his bottom line. He said that was their policy. They have no specific Covid policy in 2022. When I said I would have to then cancel the charge with our credit card his response was ”well I can't tell you what to do but we've already processed the charged on our end” They didn't care that the rest of the hockey team stayed for 3 nights and also paid for a conference room for 2 nights giving the hotel even more money. They only care about their bottom line and not even trying to understand where their customers are coming from. Terrible customer service! Terrible policies!

Stayed for two nights over March Break and was very impressed with the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful for both a phone call and enquiries during our stay. We loved our two bedroom suite with the amazing view of the Detroit River where you can see the riverside war memorials, ships and boats passing by, and Detroit across the water. Our suite was modern, spacious, and immaculate. Nice little kitchen for preparing snacks and reheating leftovers from our restaurant meals. We didn't request cleaning during our stay but we did contact them because we thought no pillows or blankets had been provided for the sofa bed, but found them later in a drawer. Pool is bigger than it looks with warm water, but mind that sticky door to get in. No breakfast is provided but there's a small market with Starbucks coffee, and Tim Hortons is less than a ten minute walk behind the the Aquatic Centre/Adventure Bay. We took the advice of previous reviews and checked in with the hotel first to get the parking pass and room keys you need to access the parking garage in the connected building. We didn't keep any belongings in the car and had no problems with the in and out privileges. A great stay!

There is free parking, breakfast, restaurants are few, food is there, the hotel is outside the station, the hotel is clean, a little bad is that the room air conditioning is louder, but in general, it is good

The suites are just like little apartments (full-size fridge, little stove top, microwave, dishwasher all in unit), laundry available on the first floor and they sell laundry soap at the front desk. Units very clean and comfortable. Staff very attentive and professional. Only one negative comment: the breakfast is basic stuff on the cheap. Nothing really tasty, but better than nothing.

This location was really good for us. It is right on the river and we had a great view. The parking was very good. Breakfast was terrible but that was not why I was there. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. The room was modern and clean. The hotel was full with collage kids and I didn't know until morning. Nice and quite.

Good service, excellent location, clean and tidy. The children are attending Windsor, and they have a special reservation on Ctrip. They stayed for 15 days before and after, and also included breakfast, toast, cake, apple, banana milk, cereal, hot water...
