Our family have a wonderful time there, it was a super lovely hotel for relaxing holiday, vintage style and beautiful every where, staff was very nice, food was great as well, we will defiantly go again
In a popular tourist spot like Windsor, don’t have too high expectations even for a 4-star hotel. The hotel is in a very good location, just on the main street. It takes 2 minutes to walk to the castle. You can also see the castle from the rooms in the main building (if you are lucky enough to stay there) (to the main building), there are many rooms in the hotel in another building in the backyard. Below the building is the parking lot on the elevated floor, with no view at all. You have to go down the stairs to the backyard from the main building, and there is no elevator in the annex building, which is very inconvenient for guests with large luggage. There were a lot of guests in the hotel, and they said they could check in at 15:00, but I had to wait for almost an hour before the room was ready. The room size was OK, and the facilities met the requirements. However, the sewer pipe in the washbasin was very blocked and the water flow was very slow. The hotel reception staff is still very welcoming.
Pros: The location is good, it is great to have breakfast on the Thames and Eaton Bridge early in the morning. The same English breakfast. The parking lot needs to be parked outside. Disadvantages: Luggage and children pay attention, our room is in need of climbing the old British building three floors and it is the kind of transfer, the estimated trouble. The bed in the room is small and not suitable for a family of three. The extra bed did not know, there was no call. PS: The room is not air conditioned!

Breakfast is the most wonderful thing. Only a few items are picked up at the bar. Others need to be ordered. There are only one or two waiters. It takes a long time to eat, and it is not necessarily your favorite. When there are many guests, the waiter is so busy that his face is expressionless. I really don't know why they want this kind of service.
The big bed room is not bad, and the surrounding environment is also very good. Unfortunately, the breakfast mode is not mentioned in the details, otherwise I would not book this hotel.
The hotel is directly opposite Windsor Castle, not far from Windsor Railway Station. The traffic is very convenient. Three single rooms are selected. The whole room is small but complete, the front room has elevators, but some floors still have to The upper and lower floors, so the big luggage needs to be lifted. The room is very clean, the bathroom has heating, after washing the small pieces of clothing can be put on the heating, it is dry overnight, very convenient, although there is no air conditioning, but the summer evening in the UK is still very Cold needs to be covered, so nothing. Car rental needs to stop at a nearby paid parking lot. It takes about 18-20 pounds for almost 10 hours in the vicinity, but it is free to stop at night, but it starts to charge at 9:00 in the morning, so if you stop for one night, pay attention to it. The next day, I will either pay back after 9:00, or leave before 9:00. There are many restaurants nearby, and the recommended wagamama is Thai, Japanese, etc. It is suitable for Chinese stomach. There is a Chinese buffet next to McDonald's. During the day, it is lined up outside. The Chinese people are everywhere. British hotels do not take off their shoes and disposable dental appliances. They usually provide soap and shampoo shower gel, so it is enough.
the service from staff was excellent.
facilities great.
we had breakfast verry good.
food on site a bit expensive i thought we got takeaways' think les is moor. Chips £5.50 10ins pizza £14.95 personally i think a little steep.
beers £7.50 could be about £5.90 just my opinion. And food chips could be about £3.50 and pizza about £9.50.
i think moor people would eat in instead off ordering food to be delivered. yours the rhodes family.
I was nervous about staying here because of a lot of negative reviews. They couldn't be further from the truth. The staff were very welcoming when we arrived the lobby /entrance was very clean with plenty of hand sanitising points. The room itself was very comfortable, clean warm and spacious with great shower and tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast room was a fully stocked kitchen with do it yourself breakfast consisting of fruit, a choice of breads yoghurt cereals muffins croissants tea and coffee. It was very quiet considering its right on the main shopping street very near the castle and theatre with loads of eating and drinking establishments on the doorstep. We had a very comfortable stay and will most definitely be visiting again.

GGuest UserStayed in this apartment for two nights, it was really good, the room was good, the location was good, the scenery was good, the service was good, the price was good, it was a good apartment. The room is the feeling of my own home, very warm, the living room dining room is spacious and bright, overlooking a large green space on the balcony, refreshing. The kitchen laundry and drying facilities are all available and very convenient. It takes only 10 minutes to walk from Windsor Central Station, passing the castle, various restaurants, theaters, and the Thames on the way. Two minutes to the apartment is a quite big supermarket, followed by Eton College. The landlord is enthusiastic and meticulous, and writes the check-in guide in detail, making the whole check-in process as simple as going home. If you are visiting school at Eaton or want to know some news about Eaton, the landlord will also give an opinion guide, great value! Because it is really good, so I don't stingy.
GGuest UserExcellent location. Great staff. Lovely bar and facilities. Only negative was the rooms were so hot could do with air conditioning or take the locks off the windows so they open more. We did have a fan but it didn’t seem to do much.
GGuest UserAll was ok.
But nothing more.
Sheets were clean, bathroom too.
Surfaces in the room could have used a bit more attention.
The bed's mattress was ok, the pullout sofa or couch was very uncomfortable even for the weight of a child.
The windows do not protect the room from outside noises.
All of the staff was very nice and beyond helpful.
GGuest UserAccommodation in the local bar. The bar downstairs is in the direction of Eton in Windsor. It is very quiet. The bed is suitable for two people. There is no elevator. The wooden stairs are relatively narrow and retro. milk. A very quiet town and more comfortable than London ~ 10 minutes walk from the train station. Dinner in many bars is very good👍
GGuest UserWe had a fantastic stay thanks to the team at McDonalds. The hotel is really comfortable and tastefully decorated. Location is fantastic. The staff are fantastic and beyond accommodating. We will be back!
GGuest UserIts right next to the Windsor Eton Central station, where plenty of restaurants and shops located, and a few minutes walk to Windsor Palace. There is only 30min free WiFi for the entire stay, need to pay extra for WiFi daily. Staff are very friendly. The building is showing wear and tear, our sink could not drain due to the stop was stuck and difficult to turn open. I had to go downstairs to ask for help since there is no hotel phone inside the room. The chain to the tub stop was broken and I could not unplug to drain the tub after use.
