We got a room in the mövenpick building close by. Room was nice, bathroom too. Water pressure in the shower could be higher, shower was not really clean.

We had a wonderful experience at the Mercure Hotel Windhoek. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues!

What makes this place is the staff! The rooms are pretty standard but the reception area, the restaurant and bar, the excellent coffee shop and the facilities at the adjoining Movenpick hotel including the super pool area make this a great stay! Definitely the best coffee in the whole of Namibia, from the coffee shop. Decent breakfast with a good selection of good and the meals we bought were also good.

The hotel was good but the Nomad restaurant is the complete let down for this whole place. Our last night in Namibia and we wanted a good meal. Sat at the Nomad restaurant for 30 minutes before even being noticed. Our orders were taken, two steaks with extra add on sides as the steaks don’t come with anything! 30 minutes after I ordered my fillet steak they now say they don’t have any so I need to change my steak cut. My steak comes out and the sides I ordered (bone marrow) didn’t come out. Asked the waiter where it was and he replied I don’t know. Ate a terrible, awful, chewy steak with butter on it as it was just awful. Worst meal we’ve ever had in Namibia. Total let down to this entire place.

we had a wonderful tour with a group of friends and relatives... Staff attitude and service highly appreciated.... Porters are trained and they make you feel at home... Good food and good service... keep up the good work... Its definitely worth a return visit to Namibia

I stayed for one night and moved to Movenpick as an upgrade, Mercure was fantastic, spacious rooms, neatly cleaned and well maintained Hotel. Carpets might need to be changed as they look outdated. I would definitely recommend to my business partners. The Nomad Restaurant has a vibey environment and had dinner "under the stars""outside. Fantastic eperience

Checked in to the Newly renovated Mercure Winhoek, checked in with a business partner who stayed at Movenpick and I had the priviledge to stay at Mercure. I was checked in by Jessica, cool calm and collected lady. Check in went perfectly fine, rooms are clean and well maintained by the property.

Excellent service received by Rodney at the Mecure Nomad restaurant. Highly recommend him as a server. He is highly attentive, patient, detail oriented and kind. The hotel restaurant is also very family friendly which is great for family outings.

Good day It is with great regret that I’m writing to make official complaint about our recent visit to Mercury hotel dated 24 Feb 2024. My family and I was totally appalled by the behavior of Mr Laubuschagne. After a regrettable encounter with Floor manager kids chased out pool and we were Advised to “vat Julle goed en loop”. We have made it as a tradition and have Sunday lunches with kids swim for past few months. Totally disappointed with the services.

Hotel standards very disappointing. We stayed here for 3nights and simply could not wait to leave. The hotel reception lady we found at check in was very unpleasant and simply did not know anything from room rates to asking us to come back after an hour or two and you can just imagine that we had been driving for two whole days to get to windhoek only to find such incompetency at a very well established hotel which we had once stayed in back in 2018 and the service then was just fine. Long story short, we got interleading rooms to accommodate our family (3 children and two adults). Upon check in, the wrong room had been made up and wrong keys given to us (no surprise there as the front lady staff we found was just in another world) and the rooms were not properly cleaned. Beds made but the cleaning standards close to zero! The restaurant staff very friendly and professional especially Justina, chef also excellent but in dining service very pathetic in that it took ages for food to arrive even despite the assurance that it would arrive within 30mins on all days. Another long story short, this hotel has a sewer stench in many places on the property. Outside, inside and this was very odd! Finally, how do you have one side of hotel fully operational and where guests are sleeping, it's totally deserted with a security guard being the only person to provide service and a note at reception saying "call this number if you need service!" I was very disappointed with our stay and we have had to find alternative accommodation elsewhere. Very disappointing for such a high standard hotel. Goodness. Please re-train them front office staff esp the lady we found upon check in and let staff be professional to all guests whether white or black. We definitely felt the nonsense segregation and treatment. Not worth our hard earned cash to waste here at all!

This is a simple business hotel where we stayed for one night before going on safari. Room was large and bathroom clean and functional. We ate outside and enjoyed the inexpensive but impressive buffet. Service for drinks was very slow. Reception staff were friendly and helpful especially when resolving an issue with our bill.

I really enjoyed my stay It's a really nice venue with beautiful views I found the staff Friendly and Courteous and always happy to assist I enjoyed the new items on the revamped restaurant menu There is a well equipped gym with a nice view on the pool And a beautiful pool and pool area to relax Looking forward to my return

I had a pool facing room, it was large and adequate for use. The staff were professional and eager to help. Many amenities (bars and pubs) are within close proximity. Pool area is beautiful. The menu offers a nice spread and food was tasty and helpings were ample.

È un buon hotel. Forse ottimo considerato che siamo in Africa. Ha funzionato quasi tutto bene. Camere spaziose. Bagno che necessita di un restyling. Colazione eccellente davvero. Personale cortese. La posizione mi è parsa un po fuori da tutto. Ma è certo un luogo consigliabile per pernottare nella anonima capitale namibiana.
