Myself and my mum had a wonderful one night stay here. Simona made us feel very welcome from the first phone call for booking, which I recommend doing directly, to arriving and for the duration of the stay. The building is stunning, the stained glass windows and beautiful architecture kept in the period in which it should be. The room was beautiful and spotless, the beds are really comfy. There was a range of hot drinks and biscuits and ice cold water in the room. The shower products are beautiful, they smell divine ! The shower was lovely. Amazing continental breakfast, a range of cereals and fruit and yogurt plus toast. We requested twin beds downstairs which was all catered for. Perfect spot for Bowness and Windermere town, you can walk, about 15/20 minutes to Bowness or there is a bus down as well, 5 minutes into town where there are lots of eating places and shops etc. Made to feel so very welcome, Simon’s is really interesting lady so do stop to chat if she has time, would absolutely recommend staying here, they make you feel like friends not customers. I have already recommended to friends and family. Thank you so much.

Very warm family hotel, great location, walking distance to Bowness and cruise ship terminal, although this time I stayed in Windermere for one night, but it was still super enjoy, their English breakfast was like nothing to say 😋

The room is very stylish. Our room was fine except for the street which was noisy. I especially recommend breakfast. You need to book with the front desk before 6pm the night before. It is freshly made in the morning and very delicious! You can't miss it. The hotel is in a good location, walking distance to the train station and Bowness.

Lynn snd Mike are superb hosts .Clearly they haven’t just opened “yet another B&B in Windermere” . This is really something special with thoughtful attention given to decor and comfort as well as to the lovely welcome and hospitality throughout our stay. , We really appreciated the little touches they have added to make our stay so enjoyable and memorable. Anyone could and should run a clean and tidy B& B but when you find yourself talking about their choice of furniture or drapes in the room or table settings you know the basics are already there. The only souvenir I would have stolen given half the chance was Alfie the gentle collie who we fell in love with. We wish Lynn and Mine every success.

We recently booked the Windermere Suites, in Windermere, for my wife's Birthday and also, our wedding Anniversary. We were looking for something extra special for our stay. Local, restaurants , shops, banks, pubs and transport links, within 5 minutes, walking distance. Local buses, do a great service locally. We booked, the Keswick Suite for our 3 nights, 29th, September,2024 to the 2, October 2024. We weren't disappointed, the establishment is exceptional, classy with a boutique style décor and lighting throughout. Vicky, the host gives a warm friendly reception on arrival. Vicky, comes across that she really knows what a client wants and expects, from there stay, she delivers to a very high standard in every department, Vicky, obviously has great pride in what she has achieved over the years, her experience really shows, she has very high standards which shows, nothing is a problem, she great knowledge of the local area and can help with suggestions and recommendations for places to see and visit. Vicky, has a small team of staff, which are the best in Windermere, we have stayed in many hotels in Windermere over the years and Vicky's, staff really do her a great credit in Customer Service Skills. Our Keswick Suite, was absolutely stunning, from the lighting, décor and facilities such as the mini bar, which was well stocked. The Teas and coffee making facilities are all in a separate room, also, so no noisy fridges running, ours was exceptionally quiet so didn't apply. There is a safe, also which we found to be very low down, for my old knees and eyesight to deal with while entering the codes 🥴. We had views overlooking the grounds at the back, with large Patio doors, which open inwards, onto a Juliet railing. The Suite, gives off a lovely classy aroma, when entering, Vicky, really knows, her style and uses top end quality, products everywhere throughout the Suite, we were well impressed with everything she showed us and took time to explain how everything works, The Spa bath, is large in size, with powerful jets, also with the mood lighting in the bathroom for that extra special occasion, nice romantic touch 😊There is also, a very large shower in the bathroom, if you choose to use it instead. Everything is of high quality, throughout, Mini bar is reasonably priced, the room service meals, were also good quality ingredients and reasonably priced. We were both really pleased with our stay. Breakfast, Room service quality and quantity, were again excellent. We finally found accommodation that can cook fried eggs, perfectly.😊 We can't wait to go back, Vicky's, experience and Customer Service, skills really shine through. We always say, if you don't know what day it is, or the time. You have enjoyed a relaxing stay. Well done Vicky, and all your staff, do you proud the best, in Windermere, we will definitely be back. We have stayed here many times over a number of years and is always our first choice for the lakes. Jonathan and Caroline are great hosts and always make us feel so welcome and at home when we arrive until the (unfortunate) moment that we leave. Rooms, lounges, facilities and breakfast all excellent. The ethos of making the hotel as green as possible while supporting conservation and promoting local businesses is also very welcome. Also, the afternoon teas are fantastic and well worth the experience or two!!

The overall location of the room is good, very close to Lake Windermere, but the big slope at the door is a bit difficult to climb. We came here by bus 599, and we were exhausted climbing the slope with our suitcases. The service is very good. The front desk was very enthusiastic after we arrived, and their butler Mike was very talkative. He introduced us to various facilities and had a pleasant chat with the baby. I felt that the service experience was very good as soon as I went there. The family room we booked is very good. It has typical British windows, a small skylight, and the baby has his own small room. In short, I am super satisfied. Speaking of this, I have to add that the family room taken on the official website is too ugly. No window was taken, so I was worried that the room was not breathable. The breakfast is still standard, nothing to say, the small courtyard is good, and it is great to come here for a relaxing vacation. If there is a chance in the future, I will choose to stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

I especially recommend this hotel, a old English villa, which is newly renovated and British style. It is very clean and full of toiletries. It is 3 minutes away from the town by car. The room can see part of the lake view and the surrounding environment. Very good, I especially like their afternoon tea, the tea set is very exquisite, and I look at it with great care! Part of the breakfast is buffet, and the main meal is à la carte, with a large portion and enough to eat! If you have children staying with you, you must tell the hotel in advance that the children need to charge a fee of £28.50/piece/night! This fee includes breakfast and extra bed. If it is not stated in advance, the fee will still be charged, but there will be no extra bed! Expresso capsule coffee is provided free of charge in the room, which is my favorite. Those who like coffee are very surprised!
