Travelodge Hotel - Barton Stacey

Great budget venue for quick overnight stay. Comfy bed and good supportive pillows. Very helpful and friendly receptionist. Docked a star as bathroom bit basic.

Stayed on our way to Southampton It is part of a service area, but only consists of the hotel, a coffee shop and a garage. It was cheap but clean and it was perfect for what we needed. We actually parked right outside our room, although we did not know that when we parked. The room itself was a decent size and although it was warm there was a fan to keep the room cool. The bed was good for me, I normally struggle with hotel beds, but this was neither too hard or too soft. A personal preference I know. There was not much round the area, so we grabbed some sandwiches and snacks from the garage for dinner which was enough for us. Perfect for us, more of a stop of point for most travellers rather than a destination but it was reasonably priced.

Great place to stay, quiet, convenient, comfortable,and clean. It's very peaceful, considering it's close to the A303. Have booked again as we have relatives nearby. If you need to eat, there is a Costa. The family room was big enough for four with two pullout beds as well as a big double.
