Great place to stay for downtown Wilmington events, close to river and we could see the USS North Carolina Batteship from Room window. Parking isn’t the best due to space but it’s feasible. Very clean and modern rooms. We had no problems at all during our two night stay.

The updated modern rooms look nice but the functionality of some areas leaves something to be desired. The bathroom sink leaves a big mess with water going all over as well as turning on the shower. Staff was great. Most annoying was seeing $20 per day self parking fee on my bill. Was not told about this and think it’s ridiculous that I’m paying to park my own car in their parking lot.

Free parking at the hotel is limited, but they do validate for the convention center garage. Spacious, modern rooms, and a good size well equipped gym.

Due to aircraft issues we arrived 3 hrs. late to hotel. Rooftop restaurant stays open till 11 and we just made it at 10:45 pm. Not only was the staff gracious snd accommodating at no time did they rush us to finish our very late dinner. I would also like to recognize Ella, at the front desk who was polite, professional and ensured we were greeted by name during our 3 day stay!

We made three attempts to go to our room. Each room was filthy. Beds unmade, dirty towels, trash and clothes left in rooms. Supervisor went to get us a room, and it does not appear one is clean for us to stay in. We have been offered $20 off for breakfast as compensation as we still sit and wait for a room.
