I have stayed here previously, and after a long days drive, I walked into the lobby and was greeted by a warm and welcoming environment. The lobby looked NOTHING like it used to! You can easily see the new managers Heather and Hannah really care about this place. They were both super friendly and accommodating, I can’t say enough good things!! I was showed to my room, and let me be the first to say, the rooms were immaculate and smelled fresh. (They used to be not so great and smelled closed up). I saw the stamped toilet paper ladies, great attention to detail. And while I was too busy to stay for breakfast, their layout was very well thought through with a little something for everyone, it smelled heavenly! Whoever the owner is made a wise choice hiring these women, the hotel has made leaps and bounds since I was last there a few months ago. Keep up the good work!!!!

This place was nothing like in the photos! It is very old and run down. We only stayed one night and will not go back. My husband did not even want to use the shower as it was crumbling and had black on it. The soccer court had lumps and black mold, that gazebo is adjacent to the parking lot with decaying boards and mold on the roof. No lovely grounds to walk, no beautiful garden. Joseph offered to change our room but that wouldn't have made any difference. Some simple things like removing the pots of weeds by the door would help.

My wife booked this property through booking dot com. We were charged (twice!) several days later even though our booking did not require prepayment. I called the hotel about the charges, and when I asked for a manager the person on the other end of the phone would not identify themselves, dropped an F bomb at me and hung up. Later I got a call from another individual who only identified himself by name (Hi Mike!) and refused to give me his title. He attested that because one line in the software said zero, they could not have charged us. However, the line item on my bank account is their hotel, and the phone number it included must be their hotel software provider. I had to cancel my card because I can’t be sure someone else doesn’t have it. But if someone else does have it they know enough to use ‘Stay Berkshire’ as for the charge. So this place has two obvious problems. They are either really insecure with personal data, (the charges were fraud,) OR they have no idea how to use their own system, (the charges were in error.) Either case is serious, which is why I asked for a manager, which leads to the second problem. Have you ever called a hotel that wouldn't Identify itself? That’s a lack of respect for the guest, and pride in the job. If they have so little respect for their customers and so little pride in their work, what else are they half-assing? Are the sheets clean? How about the breakfast food? When was the last time the breakfast chafing dishes were washed? For real? I would not risk staying at a place that cared so little about the reason they are in business.

Have come here few years now, love this place to be honest. Joe the manager is awesome and super helpful and friendly, the pool is great every year and nice with the heat too. Very close to a lot of wonderful restaurants and hiking areas as well as music and art venues. They even have a badminton court that's pretty nice too surrounded by the tree line it's a cool experience. Breakfast is great too waffles fresh fruit and coffee even cereal toast bagels yup got a good amount to feed even me haha! But seriously I come here a lot and it's my favorite place, try it some time!

I stayed here because everyone else was booked up. Prices are reasonable for the amenities offered. I especially enjoyed the heated outdoor pool, after a long day of traveling around it was the perfect way to unwind. There is a volleyball court and bocce ball area. I also noticed a fire ring with chairs around it. The rooms themselves are kept clean, and beds were comfortable. The manager Joe is a super friendly and very helpful. All around great guy. The hotel offers a country home vibe, and you feel like you matter when you walk in. It not like those huge corporate hotels where you are just a key card. They also have free wifi which helped a ton! I will certainly go back and encourage others to give this place a try!

The manager was a very nice person. The hotel, not so much! It is not kept up at all. The shower curtain needs to be replaced, there is brown mold on the edges of the plastic shower pan, bugs in the windows, and a ladder outside our window leading to the 3rd floor. The sink faucet was a dribble, and the shower was not much more than that!

I booked two rooms for four friends way in advance and they were extremely accommodating and nice to deal with. We pulled up and it was obviously a road side motel that had been updated. That was a bit disappointing. The two rooms were next to each other. Both rooms were clean. The beds were very good. But our sink drain was extremely slow and our friends had very little water pressure in their sink and shower. On the plus side….the basics were there. The place is near enough to the Williamstown campus and theatre festival. We weren’t thrilled with being directly off the highway but that’s typical of this type of set up. The next morning, we looked at the complimentary breakfast which was nicely set up in the lobby area and decided to find a diner. It’s a good option if you need a quick breakfast or have little kids. All in all, it was ok and the price was right. But I won’t return.

Horrible experience. Room was dirty, grounds were not kept up, volleyball net was on the ground, seimming pool was not cleaned, the small bridge to the pool was ready to fall, mice in the room the second night. It was an awful experience. Never again!!
