From the painted poplar wood floors and the cathedral ceiling to the sleeping loft, outdoor shower and stacked stone wall, this cottage is one of a kind and is perfect for a romantic getaway, small families, weekend with friends or as an artist / writers retreat. Storybook Cottage has been featured in several publications. Storybook Cottage sits on a small plot of land in Leiper's Fork, just a short scenic thirty minute drive south of Nashville in the best community in the area. The close proximity makes it a perfect getaway for recording artists and entertainment professionals looking for peace and quiet during their stay in Nashville. The Natchez Trace Parkway is a little over a mile away and is perfect for hiking, biking, horseback riding and scenic drives and 'Main Street' in Downtown Franklin is just a short twelve mile drive. The Cottage features cathedral ceilings, one bedroom, plus loft and one bathroom with just over 800 sq ft of living space. The master bedroom has a king size bed, while the loft features two twin size beds. In addition to the one full bathroom, there is a charming, private, outdoor shower off the back enclosed porch. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, from a bottle opener to pots and pans, baking dishes to forks and knives. You can look forward to enjoying a cup of coffee on the back enclosed porch, reading a book or taking a nap in the hammock and making s'mores over the crackling fire in the outdoor fire pit. For any who've never experienced an outdoor shower... do, do, do. There's something uniquely special about showering outside in the midst of nature, the sounds and fresh air. DirecTV and a selection of DVD’s. are available for your viewing pleasure. A washer and dryer are also available for your use. *Please note that due to the incline of the stairs, the loft is not suitable for young children. There is a queen sleeper sofa for your use. The Cottage truly has a character all it's own, a secluded retreat nestled amongst the trees off the beaten path. Storybook Cottage is where a touch of nature and your imagination make everyday life a little less ordinary.
