Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Williamsburg Colonial

The breakfast is not a hot breakfast ..it's continental. The bathrooms are a little outdated. But besides those 2 things ...it's GREAT for the price!

Stinky The room smelt like stale **** the place advertised no smoking on premises but maybe thats only cigarettes i would not recommend any family to stay here .. it was not very clean either

Dirty and old/bad conditions The room we booked was supposed to be non-smoking and have a queen sized bed. Neither were true. The bed was full/double size (we have a queen and home and know the size) and it REAKED of smoke. It was so bad that my clothes smelled of smoke the next day after leaving the room. There were no other rooms available when we checked in so we had no choice but to stay in that room. The carpet was dirty and sticky in spots, the bedside table was dirty - I used toilet paper (not tissues in the room) to try and clean/wipe it and the paper was brown afterward. Disgusting.

Poor Condition and Poor Service The room was in poor condition with a lot of staining and the carpet pulling up. The beds have only a thin sheet, and on one of the beds it had a cigarette burn through it. The room also had a strong chemical smell. Although it advertises breakfast, on the first day the display had only a handful of apples, a single mini muffin of indeterminate age, and some cereal and milk. On that day, the clerk offered me fresh muffins, but did not do so for other guests. On following days, there were no muffins at all. Although the website says that it is a 17 minute walk to William and Mary, it is more like 40 minutes.

Very Good stay Over all our stay was very good. However, The side chair and the outman was stained. it would have been a perfect stay other than that.
