We stayed one night while visiting the College of William & Mary, and this inn was perfect. It’s within walking distance of both the college and the colonial area—so charming and full of character, definitely not your typical chain hotel. Just a heads-up: there’s a steep staircase to reach the rooms, but parking is super convenient. We stayed in the Restoration Room, which was lovely, decorated with colonial toys, antiques, and framed vintage postcards that added to the charm. The room had two beds (a double and a twin), a cozy alcove for reading, and even a balcony through the back door. We always bring our weighted blankets, as the beds have light sheets and bedspreads, even in January. It was quiet and clean. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were available in the breakfast room, and breakfast was simple—a light continental spread, just enough to start the day. We’d love to come back!
