I went to Dormy House Hotel for lunch. The food was delicious. The atmosphere and surroundings were very peaceful and relaxing. My only grouch would be that my lunch plates were taken away as soon as I had finished eating and I was asked to pay before I had finished my drink, making me feel as though I wasn't welcome and they wanted me to leave. Not the sort of service you would expect from this sort of hotel.

We had a wonderful, two night, relaxing stay at the Dormy House. Our room was luxurious and so comfortable, the hotel decor is stylish, yet homely. The spa is beautiful and well appointed. The food was amazing and the staff made us feel very welcome. We didn't want to leave and would love to return.

Afternoon Tea - this is our second visit to Dormy House. Stunning food, wonderful polite, helpful staff in a beautiful setting. We can't recommend Dormy House enough, it's always a pleasure. Best Afternoon Tea in Oxfordshire

I literally can’t begin to say how disappointed I am! After my husband and I had a wonderful stay in May (we raved the hotel to everyone) we were keen to return next week with my mum and daughter for their birthdays. I have been trying to speak to reservations to book 2 rooms since last Thursday. I have left answer phone messages, messages with reception and even a WhatsApp…but nothing! We called you our Dorchester Hotel in the Cotswolds how wrong we were!!

Excellent boutique hotel, highly recommend staying in the splendid room Food was delicious, staff were very attentive and the spa is wonderful Nothing to fault about this place other than our stay simply wasn’t long enough and we will be back!

This is a gorgeous country house. Reception was kind and very friendly. Our room was beautiful. We had dinner and breakfast at the Back Garden and I think that dinner was probably one of the best meals we had on our 10 day stay in England. We had pre-dinner drinks at the bar and that was lovely too. I love the decor of the place and even the ladies bathrooms was so beautifully done.

A beautiful hotel, in a wonderful area, very clean with lovely well maintained gardens. The staff were all very polite and couldn’t do enough to help during our stay, nothing was ever too much trouble. The food was fantastic. (We had lunch, an evening meal and breakfast) We made great use of the spa facilities having several treatments (floatation tank, full body massage & wave therapy) we used the pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room and snow shower. (The snow shower is fantastic) I would like to mention specifically all the staff in the Spa, they were just amazing, so polite and welcoming, they explained everything so well, and the massage I had was really good. Of particular note to mention for myself, despite being a very upmarket hotel, I was pleased to see various members of staff with facial piercings and tattoos. As someone who has both myself it was very refreshing to see, and showed that the owners / management are really up to date with current trends / fashion. Having had negative attitudes towards my own piercings and tattoos during my life this showed how times are changing for the better (in my opinion) Well done Dormy House for running an amazing hotel and spa and making me feel so very welcome, I look forward to staying with you again and will be telling everyone how much of an amazing place it is.
