Hospitality was good room was below standard no shampoo, no conditioner no hand towels stain bedsheets, but good access to parking

The place was average although the electricity went out on us 1 day. There was a rude receptionist that was obviously upset at the world and couldnt be bothered. The owner and his daughter were great.

I should have looked at the reviews on here before booking! We booked a room with 1.5 bathrooms only to find out they don’t exist! The only bathroom is so small it’s uncomfortable! Had to sit sideways on the toilet, sink no bigger than a laptop… What they don’t tell you is there are several dogs across the street in a yard that are left outside 24/7 that never stop barking, shutter style windows make it impossible to sleep! There was a letter in the room asking guests to call the police when you get woken up and wait for them outside to make a complaint! Really? We asked the owner about the bathroom situation and was replied back to in a hostile way! Again, should have read reviews! The next morning we went and asked about changing rooms and complained about the bathroom and had the pleasure of meeting the owner…for being an owner, he is the rudest person towards his customers I’ve ever come across, Basically yelling at us blaming us for not reading the description, saying we should have stayed at the Hilton… People are not exaggerating when they say the owner is rude, his customer service is non existent. Do yourselves a favour and book something else!!!! We left a similar review on Airbnb and he sent us harassing messages on Airbnb and WhatsApp!

I will def be back to Boca Simon vacations Amazing quality for the price. Friendly staff and check in. Everything I needed. Would def come back and recommend to others who are on a budget.

The owner was very nice to me. However the room had no soap and the sheets/blankets smelled like a dirty rag. I would not recommend this hotel

Full disclosure: I didn't stay at this hotel. I had a RESERVATION through ******* for mid June 2024, which THEY cancelled this morning by the hotel with no reason provided. Incidentally, just yesterday afternoon I sent the hotel a message asking about potentially storing my bags somewhere earlier than their 3pm check-in and also following up for more info about the tour discounts they offered in their intial email. I guess they don't like answering any questions and just decide to cancel your reservation instead. So, with just over a month to go before my trip, I got to unexpectedly spend the morning deciding on a new hotel. Interestingly, the "last" room my reservation had claimed is open again. I could have tried to rebook but... no thanks. So, if you're looking for peace of mind booking in advance.... I wouldn't recommend.
