Water's Edge Ocean Resort

This was our second year in a row using Waters Edge. And we will continue to go back. Every year, our family goes to Wildwood for our yearly vacation. In 2024, we had to find a new hotel due to the one we used for years undergoing new management and the prices skyrocketed. We started looking and researching, and that’s never fun. Checking reviews and ensuring it will be a safe, clean place for a family of 6. Then, we found Waters Edge. Our first stay was in 2024 and we had a great experience. So we booked again for this year (2025) and again, we had a great time. The staff is always very pleasant and kind and super respectful. From the wonderful ladies who work the front desk, the maintenance guys who you see all around and the cleaning ladies who work so hard to make our room nice and clean and cozy. We have always been greeted with a smile no matter who we come across. The rooms themselves have always been perfect. Booking, checking in and checking out have always been a breeze. And the heated pool with a small kiddie pool attached is the best. This year, our AC in our room stopped working. I called the front desk, maintenance came immediately and put in a new unit and within 30 minutes of placing my call to the front desk, we had air again. 100% recommend this hotel. This is now “our hotel” and we know we won’t have to worry about searching for one every year.

My fourth time there. Always very accommodating and always very clean. Can’t beat the location! And the rooms are top notch! We do wish the pool music started a little later. It starts at 9:30 every morning. We would rather listen to the surf and have our Coffe/tea in a more relaxing way. That said, the music is great, just wish they’d push it back to 11.

Our stay at Water’s Edge Resort was absolutely wonderful! The location couldn’t be better—just steps away from the beach and boardwalk, yet still peaceful and relaxing. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. It really felt like they cared about making our stay enjoyable. Parking was convenient, and the overall atmosphere was family-friendly and relaxing. We’ll definitely be coming back—this is now one of our favorite spots in Wildwood! 🌊☀️

This was our 20th year at the Water’s Edge, so it goes without saying that this is our home away from home. With 52 years vacationing in the Wildwoods, I guess you could say we kinda love it. The Water’s Edge creates a wonderful family atmosphere, with marvelous attentive staff, and consistently upgrading their facilities. Their location is PERFECT for beach, boardwalk, and food. Who could ask for anything more!

We found Water's Edge almost 20 years ago after another family owned hotel was sold after the owners retired. We stayed at a couple of different places before finding Water's Edge and will not stay any other place. The staff are great. They continue to make upgrades every year. We stay the beginning of June and just this week. Between that time, they added a gazebo with outdoor furniture. I saw some reviews about the tight parking spots. I do not believe there is any one of the hotels that do not have tight parking spots.
