The Plough Inn was a delightful place to stay. The staff were very friendly and the room was spotless! I had the best nights sleep ever because it’s so nice and quiet. The food was absolutely delicious also, both dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Drinks at the bar are reasonably priced. Parking is free and plentiful. Would love to visit it again. A lovely, cosy Yorkshire dales vibe.

The house is old but the bathroom is newly renovated. The surrounding environment is good. The restaurant downstairs is the highlight and is delicious.

Stayed one night, can’t fault this hotel, staff are all very helpful and friendly, good selection of drinks and reasonably priced, had a evening meal and breakfast, the food is amazing, beautifully cooked. The rooms are clean and have everything you need, bed is very comfy.. a must place to visit

Excellent, best meal we have had for a very long time. Chef knows how to cook. Belly pork, pigs cheeks black pudding, and braised steak pie with lovely veg and gravy.

Excellent service from start to finish - such a friendly, happy team who were on hand if needed. Beautiful decor and lovely surroundings not to mention the delicious evening meal - we were impressed by every course! Which certainly doesn’t happen often. Great breakfast too. We hope to stay again sometime.

The Plough in Wigglesworth is a little gem. A very striking building as you approach with great views from beer garden and restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic and the staff very friendly and helpful. A special mention to Maddie for being so bubbly and accommodating.

We were guests at The Plough for two nights midweek. It was the perfect base for exploring the surrounding hills. Our hosts were friendly and caring. Our room was very comfortable with a wonderful walk in shower, coffee machine, fluffy towels and home made brownies on arrival. Breakfast and dinner both days were delicious; everything we ate was noteworthy and I'd say the food alone is reason enough to visit. We are already planning a return visit so that we can complete the third peak! Thank you to all staff for you warm and genuine hospitality and thank you to the chefs we didn't meet and I hope our empty plates did all the talking!

We visited The Plough on a family trip to Skipton. The food was absolutely gorgeous and couldn't fault it, the only issue was the service, we ordered 3 meals and there was an issue with the order so the chef had only prepared 2 of them, but the missing meal was brought out within 5 minutes. After we had finished eating we didn't get offered a desert menu or the table cleared until we asked a member of staff. These are just 2 minor things, overall gorgeous food and location and would visit again if in the area
