We can recommend the Berghotel Wiedener Eck without reservation! Anyone who wants to relax over the weekend is in good hands here! Clean rooms with a beautiful view, friendly and courteous staff, great spa facilities... If you want good food, especially game dishes, you will definitely come back. The medallions of saddle of venison, prepared by the chef himself, are a revelation! It is hard to imagine that game can be prepared better!! We were not the first and definitely not the last time to visit...

The hotel is beautifully situated at 1000 m altitude. We had booked half board and the 4 course menu was always excellent. The breakfast was rich. The service is friendly and accommodating. It's nice that young trainees also get a chance here. They did their job very well. Our room was spacious with a balcony and a beautiful view. The equipment is a bit older but completely sufficient.

The Wiedener Eck was once a small typical inn at the beginning of the 20th century. Apparently, several structural extensions then took place. The architecture typical of the Black Forest was completely ignored in the expansions. It's just not appropriate for the area. The house lives solely from its top location - that's it. The overnight prices m.F. are moon prices (approx. 200 € for the comfort double room with balcony) - the gastronomy also has high prices with small quantity / good quality. The rooms were renovated not too long ago (not the bathroom) and have a flat screen TV, the bathroom has storage space for everything that 2 normal people today BITTER miss. The structural structure is as specified by the architecture of the 20th century. The entire building is extremely charged in the June temperatures. (air condition non-existent) Relaxed sleep (at high room temperature) looks different. All in all, the balconies (wooden table with wooden folding chairs) are rather scruffy - little value is placed on them. The house is in dire need of an energetic renovation. The swimming pool is positive, as is the sauna. I also find the amount of the visitor's tax extreme - €2.40 per person per day! Are you crazy ? The hotel cannot do anything about this - these are the politicians who are responsible for such rip-off guests. For us, the Black Forest holiday was a lot of frustration - since there was always something missing at breakfast - service. No wonder the elderly gentleman (with a young man to help) was completely overwhelmed. We will gladly not come again.

wir waren vor Weihnachten ein paar Tage im Wiedener Eck und sind sehr begeistert, sehr gutes Essen und sehr guter Service (sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter) tolles Frühstück, wir hatten eine Junior Suite und die war groß, sehr gepflegt und schön und das Hallenbad ist auch schön, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt

Hôtel situé dans un très beau site. Rien à redire au niveau gastronomie : on y découvre une cuisine du terroir modernisée, réalisée par un chef expérimenté.. La suite junior est agréable mais la salle de douche est exiguë avec une douche trop datée par rapport aux tarifs pratiqués par ce 4*.

Das Wiedener Eck bietet einen erstklassigen Rahmen für gelungene Ferien: Super gelegen, tolle Wandermöglichkeiten, herrliche Aussicht. Das Haus wird sehr gut geführt, das Personal ist äusserst frendlch und zuvorkommend. Das Haus verbindet Elemente des alten Hotelbaus (Wirtschaft) mit neuen Elementen (Anbau mit Essraum). Die Zimmer sind funktional ohne überflüssigen Schischi, alles wird hervorragend unterhalten und das ganze Haus ist von grosser Sauberkeit geprägt. Das Essen war der Hammer, der Hausherr himself macht als Koch einen exzellenten Job. Die Karte (klein, im Sinne von Qualität statt Quantität) hat uns überzeugt. Auch das Wellnessangebot haben wir genutzt (innenpool, Massage) - alles tipptop. Wer gerne in einem familiären Rahmen Urlaub auf gut 1000 Metern höhe macht, kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten. - Wir kommen wieder.
