We have stayed here a number of times and found this hotel a perfect location for Liverpool one and Cheshire oaks. The rooms are always clean with comfy beds and soft bedding. The staff are so friendly and helpful, there is a staff member called Dee and she can’t do enough to make our stay so good. Throughly recommend this hotel.

We stayed with family whilst visiting Chester zoo with my 3 year old. The hotel is quite dated and right next to a busy road, the windows do little to keep the road noise out. We had some issues with the smell of **** in the hotel which was reported to reception, the lady went off to sort this out and speak to those involved, just a bit disconcerting when you have a young child with you. The car park was still thick with snow/ice and would have benefited from some grit being applied, wasn’t easy to get my older mum across into the hotel. Overall though, the hotel is quiet inside and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. There’s plenty of shops and places to eat within walking distance too.

I phoned this morning to enquire about disabled access and was greeted by Katie who was extremely friendly, kind, informative & most helpful, to say this was only Katie's third shift our questions were answered with great clarity and if unsure Katie went and found out. It was from my initial phone call & a second conversation with The Hotel Manager Angie that put all our minds at ease and we booked a family room for the 3 of us for February 2025. We can not wait to meet and stay at The Everglades Hotel thanks to Katie & Angie. Ken Room 124

Came to a family party close by so this hotel was very convenient - in walking distance. Reading some of the reviews I was a little worried what Hillcrest would be like but honestly I would stay here again. The reception area was clean and tidy as was the bar and restaurant. Check in was efficient and all staff and other guests very friendly. Rooms were clean and tidy with a good selection of towels, toiletries and a Nespresso coffee machine. Beds were comfortable and the hotel and surrounding area quiet to allow for a good night’s sleep. For a couple of nights for a visit to the area I would stay here again
