Stayed at Widnes Travelodge a while back, I don’t often do reviews. But the staff were so great I had to. I was greeted by a lady called Jan, she actually recommended me places to eat locally, she was super friendly. After my evening out I arrived back to be greeted by Peter & Dan. They had to let me in the door as I forgot my key. Both were super friendly and helpful. Both made time to chat, and gave me extra milk and coffee. If I had to say anything negative, it is that the place could do with modernising. But the room and hotel was spotless.

I was recently in transit on my way home to Dublin when my flight was cancelled, I was pleasantly surprised how clean and tidy the hotel was considering how much I paid for the room , the staff were really helpful and lent me a phone charger as I had mislaid mine , I would recommend this hotel as it is excellent value for money with extremely helpful staff, god bless you for your help

I came up for the Liverpool the Liverpool match on Saturday on my own and was impressed from the minute I checked in, the friendly lady who checked me in who’s name was Jan was so helpful not helping not only about the hotel and local amenities but advised me about how best to travel to the football stadium as it was my first time going to the game, the room was nice and clean and the other staff I met were all friendly, highly recommended

After a very long day we arrived to be greeted by very friendly staff who realised on seeing us that we would be better accommodated in a downstairs room. We booked in then went for some food and on arriving back we were greeted by Corey who was very friendly and helpful, we would recommend a stay.

We stayed with family whilst visiting Chester zoo with my 3 year old. The hotel is quite dated and right next to a busy road, the windows do little to keep the road noise out. We had some issues with the smell of **** in the hotel which was reported to reception, the lady went off to sort this out and speak to those involved, just a bit disconcerting when you have a young child with you. The car park was still thick with snow/ice and would have benefited from some grit being applied, wasn’t easy to get my older mum across into the hotel. Overall though, the hotel is quiet inside and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. There’s plenty of shops and places to eat within walking distance too.

I stayed here around the Christmas time for a few days before staying with family. Checked in fine and the rooms are standard good quality expected from Travelodge. The staff were amazing. I spent most of my time at my family's but would return, often late, to the hotel to sleep. One night worker, Charlotte, was especially nice with a warm welcome and helpful manner. I am not local but asked her if she knew the area and asked for advice on what to do as I am not a local. She was extremely helpful and had a lot of time for not just myself, but others. The general mood of the hotel was upbeat and nice and I would definitely stay again
