This place is one of the loveliest quitest places i have ever stayed at. The lady on the reception was exceptional, very helpful ,careing. The room we stayed in was spotless, spacious and very quiet. The garden out side was well kept and picturesque and so quiet. Fabulous walks. Breakfast and dinner in the Wicklow Heather.

The room was spacious and comfortable with ample room to spread out a bit. The bathroom was small but adequate. Top marks for the very friendly and helpful staff! We left prescription sunglasses and they posted them so we got them later in our trip. A++! The hotel is very convenient to Glendalough—worth going at several times of day for the different moods. We enjoyed dinner twice and the sister restaurant. Good meals. Much better IMO than the pub down the street. (We went to the pub on a Sunday afternoon and the ‘buffet’ was meh.)

This was my third visit to Heather Lodge and won't be my last. Erika gave us a wonderful welcome again and her hospitality and warmth is a credit to the place. She truly looks after all the guests wonderfully and this is a big part of why I have returned several times. The place is always spotless, with great sized rooms and super comfortable beds. Location is fantastic, the next door restaurant is very good (although it stops serving breakfast quite early) and the local pub is only a stone's throw away and does decent food too. Thanks again Erika for a wonderful stay

Erika was super friendly and brought us extra coffees when we stayed. We had a great dinner and lunch in the Heather restaurant next door. The rooms were nicer than the photos. The rooms were also very warm on a cold day. We didn’t want to leave!

Had an excellent stay at the Heather Lodge, one night at the Heather House. Check in was no fuss and straight to our room. Lovely fit out and had that townhouse feel with a great view - delighted with our choice. Didn't spend much time in the recreational area of the House itself but there was plenty of plush space to have a coffee, read and chat. Village itself is small. We were recommended the Lynhams Pub for a bite due to the time. Happy with the choice, food and atmosphere. Didn't plan on the small walk to the Heather Restaurant for breakfast the next morning (plan was to hit the road). Glad we did. Good choice and reasonably priced. As we left, the Heather Lodge was added to our list of places to return to. Great base and no distance from Glendalough.

Excellent guest house, the restaurant beside is great and Glendalough walks are close by. The rooms are lovely and the common areas are really nice as well with tea and coffee and lovely views. Highly recommend this accommodation and very good value for the location and standard.

The room was spacious and clean as a whistle. Great location to explore Glendalough. Service was also excellent. Would have no issues recommending Heather House to friends and family. The only fault is no breakfast included but the restaurant next door does great food.

Our room and bedroom were beautiful. The grounds on the property were gorgeous and well kept. Host was accommodating and very friendly. The village of Laragh was charming took a recommended drive (Sarah pass), it did not disappoint. Highly recommend!! Food next store at the restaurant was incredible.

A perfect country getaway! We stayed for 2 nights in room 8. We were warmly welcomed and all amenities were provided with charming small touches. Mountain views come free—and even better from the spacious lounges upstairs where one can relax with tea and biscuits. We also enjoyed the friendly restaurant next door. We’ll be back!
