The room was basic and not very clean, but the staff was friendly. Good location in Whittier with nearby shops and restaurants. Nothing fancy, but it served its purpose for a short stay.

The site was rundown, homeless people were at the back of the property. I felt unsafe. Safety locks were missing on interior doors. When I first checked in, the room I went to had a like of clothes inside. I got another room, the fire alarm batteries were missing and the alarm beeped periodically.

Best Whittier Inn. Worst in worst hotel in America This was the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The room was disgusting, there was no shower head just the pipe coming out. There were no pillow cases on the pillow. The bed was very dirty like the prior guest left it dirty and they just made the bed. The bed felt like it had plywood underneath the sheet. The carpet was sticky. There were stains on the bed sham carpet, and the walls. Exterior was very disgusting homeless people hanging out.

Old and run down, no working ice maker, no in room microwave, it did have refrigerator, price was reasonable. Beds need renovation.
