Business stay. Wouldn’t bing the family for a short break, as they would want better, But a perfect and economical solution, for working away or a business trip, Cheap but cheerful,

We paid for early check in which and our room was ready earlier than expected. Due to the extreme heatwave the lady on reception kindly allocated us a back bedroom which she said was cooler! - in the winter probably but definitely definitely not this last few days. There was a small desktop fan in room but no air conditioning. This fan was in no way adequate for a cool nights sleep. Even the bottles of water we brought were luke warm due to the heat in bedroom. Before I go on I must say the ladies on reception were lovely. Very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. There was free parking and a Greg's and Starbucks on site- can't comment on these as didn't use them. The bed was just soooo comfortable and the room was lovely and dark so no early awakenings. Very quiet surroundings- had no noise( but we were out the back and not road facing) . Our only issues were 1) lack of plug sockets( no sockets by side of bed) 2) no hooks in bathroom 3) bath handles were filthy 4) NO AIR CON!!!! 5) dated rooms- could do with a spruce up. 6) tv kept losing signal 😑 😒 7) when we opened door up there was a real smell of cheesy feet- carpet could do with a shampoo or replacing.

We frequently stay at the Canterbury Whitstable Travelodge, and honestly, we love it! Every single time, we're met with such a warm welcome. The girls there are just fantastic – nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Whatever requests we have, they always go out of their way to cater for them, making our stays so easy and comfortable. We highly recommend this Travelodge; the team truly makes all the difference! and we love to see Jimmy ;)

Friendly staff and warm welcome however the accommodation wasn’t of a good standard. It was dated, grubby and very tired in appearance. The carpets needed replacing, strong plug in air fresheners masked various smells, the bathroom extractor fan didn’t work and there were signs of damage within the room. Such a shame as the staff were lovely and all bedding clean.

The travel lodge was clean, adequate friendly staff just what we needed. Enjoyed visiting old haunts in Kent and friends but could do with a sign to show how to get there. We will hopefully return soon for another visit.

This is a very tied building, but the staff were lovely even placed planted up flower pots around the entrance. Not company.ones personal one

For the price I could not fault it, friendly, helpful staff, clean room, fresh fluffy towels and a cat to greet you at the reception. A bit out of town. Forgot my phone charger reception happy to lend me one for the duration of my stay. Would definitely stay again. Well done to all the staff.

We like this Travelodge mainly because the staff are so helpful nothing is to much trouble just need a refurbishment
