Premier Inn Whitley Bay

I have stayed in quite a lot of Premier Inns and this one topped them all. Excellent location for all ages, friendly and helpful staff, parking flexible to use in other north tyneside locations, well managed restaurant and well cooked food.

Amazing comfortable bed, dark, quiet room , great nights sleep. Very clean bathroom, fluffy towels. Lovely friendly reception staff. Free tea, coffee and biscuits. Wonderful sea view. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

We booked this hotel for the location, perfect close to the beach and Ideal for exploring the area parking next door £3 allday,we have stayed in many premier Inns but this was our worst experience. Staff first class, Rooms incrediblely hot at night all windows are sealed no fresh air in the hotel so unless you keep noisy Aircon on all night you roast,if you have a shower you need to ask reception for fresh towels as housekeeping for rooms is only when you ask.breakfast we were told to book a time as supposed to be busy,no it wasn't minimal amounts of food put out and barely warm,milk for tea or coffee is in a jug that takes atleast 4 pints, I saw several elderly people not being able to use it.we wanted to book evening meals but as my wife is a vegetarian only a couple of options. Apart from location I wouldn't recommend this hotel we had booked for 3 nights and didn't get one good nights sleep also as no airflow you end up with dry throat and sniffles. Not a Premier Inn now budget I'm afraid

This premier inn has the most loveliest staff ! Never had so many lovely staff in one hotel . Sea view was fantastic. We will definitely be back in a couple of months. A special thanks to Adele on reception. We were visiting as had to attend a funeral and then deal with the property. Adele's friendliness at the end of the day was just what we needed . The whole team were super!

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this hotel. The staff were shockingly rude and provided minimal to no service throughout my stay. The rooms were tiny and freezing cold, making it impossible to feel comfortable. This is definitely not a place where you can relax and enjoy yourself. I would strongly recommend looking for a bed and breakfast instead, as you're likely to receive better hospitality and accommodations elsewhere.

The room was spotlessly clean, the beds and pillows very comfortable. Breakfast was in the Beefeater next door with a choice of cooked or continental which was lovely and a good price. However, the best part was the excellent customer service by the wonderful ladies who made our stay great. Thank you Sara and Paul Moverley

Stayed here last weekend and can’t speak highly enough of the hotel, restaurant and staff who looked after us. We arrived slightly earlier than planned but Elliot on reception couldn’t have been more helpful or professional. Booked us into a room that was ready and was really kind and thoughtful. Our evening meal was outstanding, we both had steaks ( sirloin and fillet) and both were of better quality than those we have had in some “high end “ restaurants. Stacey was particularly impressive and was on top of everything going on. We will definitely be staying here again.

I stayed at Premier Inn Whitley Bay for 26 nights in September and it was excellent. My room was very comfortable and so quiet and peaceful. The bed and pillows were perfect and relieved my back pain which started in another hotel a few weeks earlier. The beach is right outside the hotel and the promenade provides lovely walks along the coast with great places to eat and drink and lovely attractions including St Mary's Isnand and lighthouse and Tynemouth village. Accesibility to all areas is very good. I had a beautiful view of tis from my room. This is a perfect place for an easy, relaxing break with so much on the doorstep. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and professional. I highly recomend. Photos do not do justice to the experience of biengbhere.

We had a wonderful stay at the Premier Inn in Whitley Bay on the 17th and 18th of September. The staff were absolutely brilliant and so helpful and friendly. The room was superb with everything you needed for a couple of nights stay. I would highly recommend staying at the Premier Inn and Whitley Bay as the beach was literally, two minutes from the front door
