Booked through booking for comm, paid 150 for the night, should have checked that includes breakfast, it didn't, room was nice bathroom really good a bit Laura Ashley for my taste, let down by an IKEA style wardrobe that wasn't fixed to the wall and a mirror propped up in a corner, had a coffee machine but no capsule s for it, stated it's in a conservation area actually faces an abandoned Wilkinson shop was charging 6,95 for a Bailey's with ice, being honest it's Whitehaven not the lakes, should have included a breakfast for the price

We haven't visit for a while so decided to book a table for dinner and so pleased we did. Comfortable bar area good selection of drinks and excellent cocktails. Shown to the dinning room which is nicely decorated. Food was delicious beautifully presented & tasted gorgeous. Good choice, lovely friendly efficient staff. We will definitely return.

My wife booked us all in four my 40th birthday which was a nice surprise as I didn't no the hole family was going she sorted everything out with steph and had the table done nice at no extra costs there was two people that have a lot of food requirements due to Serious Allergi and makes going for food hard sometimes and everything come out great they was 18 off us and everyone commented on how nice the food was and the staff where great Abbey and Scott couldn't do enuff for the full table Abbey give the food to my wife who has allergy and made sure everything was OK and reassured her that her food had not come into contact with any of the foods she cant have . can't recommend this place enough great food great staff and great if any one has food restrictions

We went in for my mam's birthday, my first time in. We were pleasantly greated at the front door by a lovely young lady who directed us upstairs for a drink where attentive bartenders explained how the evening would follow.( Ordering upstairs then seated for the meal). our cockatils were professionally made and served. When being seated, the waitress talked to us and made us feel special, a birthday balloon for my mam was waiting on our table. Our food came out in a timely manner, it was stunningly good. staff made time to talk to us about my mams birthday and to us in general. I would highly recommend to anybody in the area for a special occasion or a nice meal out! couldn't fault!

Weekend stay. Lovely room, food was fantastic, had the Georgian Chicken. Breakfast was equally as good. Will definitely stay again.

Lovely stay on business, hotel is clean, well kept, well presented rooms (which I think are all individual). Great shower and bathroom facilities. Dinner was amazing, and breakfast high standard. Service was great all stay too. I did notice it’s free room service which is a nice touch. Parking was fine on the main high street if you’re arriving after 6 and leaving before 8.30. It’s about 30 second walk
