hotel was well located for our needs, rooms were spacious and clean. catering/restaurant was fair , a bit shabby but food was good and staff friendly

Place was good and clean. As we don’t drive location was not really good for us though there was bus stop near to the place. It would be fine if there was no holidays, but since we went on new years there was no bus on that day and having an early flight we have to go before sunrise and there was no streetlight at all, it was scary. I guess we just booked it at the wrong time of the year, unless you drive it would be a good place to stay.

Let’s talk about the advantages first. This inn is just on the outskirts of Edinburgh, about 10 kilometers away, and has a good location. Accommodation in Edinburgh is expensive and parking is difficult. Therefore, it is quite a good choice to stay here; in addition, parking is very convenient, there is a parking lot in front of the hotel, and there are sufficient parking spaces. At 9 pounds a night, this parking fee is simply a bargain in the UK and is very friendly for self-driving. You can see the British pastoral scenery from the door of the inn, which is very beautiful. The disadvantage is that the price is not cheap and there is no elevator. Although the floor is not high, there are only 3 floors, but if you have a lot of luggage, it will take a while. The air conditioner in the room cannot be adjusted by itself and it is very hot. Nothing wrong with anything else.

The room was a standard premier inn room. It’s was clean and very spacious. We had a twin room and the beds were very comfortable. Was very warm as no air conditioning. Would stay again. We didn’t eat any food so can’t comment on that.

Hotel is fine for a cheap room. Getting a little tired now but general clean with good beds, pillows not so. We didn't have a good experience getting a drink and snack in the pub out front. I would consider eating before you get there.

A convenient location for a hotel, when we were working at the GSO. The hotel was as to be expected and the staff are all wonderful, unfortunately it’s located adjacent to the bar/restaurant next door……… The staff in the adjacent restaurant/bar are all outstanding and deserve acknowledgment for the work they perform in such a terrible set of circumstances. If you want to the following Flooded toilets Limited menu availability Swarms of flies Limited availability of drinks Last orders at 8:30 on a Sunday Overly sticky carpets and tables Then this is the place for you!. It’s a shame, as the staff give you such a warm welcome, but the venue requires a major overhaul, to bring it up to date and to a standard that all the staff deserve. Hoped we’ll visit again next year and Whitbread would have invested in the building, giving the staff what they deserve……….🤞🏻🤞🏻

Very poor would not go again unpleasant staff brewers fayre which is part of the premier inn food microwaved bar closed early this was probably there best money making weekend all year as just a few miles away was the Scottish golf open ,probably staff need retraining,have stayed in lots of premier inns but never had this treatment before
