Place was good and clean. As we don’t drive location was not really good for us though there was bus stop near to the place. It would be fine if there was no holidays, but since we went on new years there was no bus on that day and having an early flight we have to go before sunrise and there was no streetlight at all, it was scary. I guess we just booked it at the wrong time of the year, unless you drive it would be a good place to stay.

Let’s talk about the advantages first. This inn is just on the outskirts of Edinburgh, about 10 kilometers away, and has a good location. Accommodation in Edinburgh is expensive and parking is difficult. Therefore, it is quite a good choice to stay here; in addition, parking is very convenient, there is a parking lot in front of the hotel, and there are sufficient parking spaces. At 9 pounds a night, this parking fee is simply a bargain in the UK and is very friendly for self-driving. You can see the British pastoral scenery from the door of the inn, which is very beautiful. The disadvantage is that the price is not cheap and there is no elevator. Although the floor is not high, there are only 3 floors, but if you have a lot of luggage, it will take a while. The air conditioner in the room cannot be adjusted by itself and it is very hot. Nothing wrong with anything else.

Good location. Found hair in the mushroom batter. Put me off total meal. Beware. Rooms ok, but need desperately updating, hall skirting boards paint on floor, not as clean as room looks. Most staff friendly. If the Premier managers read these, then take action.

AVOID at all costs. The room was absolutely disgusting. Blood and hairs on the bed which looked like it hadn't even been changed from previous guest. Carpet was filthy too with white pieces and dust along with the bath and hand wash. I didn't want to even touch the remote becase there was food particles stuck down the buttons. Stains on the carpet, the side bed, the hard chair under the desk. The walls were also filthy. So run down, unhygienic and it stunk of damp.

Warm friendly welcome on arrival. Large, very comfortable bed, very clean and plenty of storage. Tea and coffee in the room. Made use if the Brewster Fayre next door which was great. Stayed here a few times, wouldn’t go anywhere else, great value for money, always welcoming, you know what you’re going to get!

It’s an ok premier inn. Like many of them these days it could do with some care and maintenance. At what point does the company decide to do anything I wonder? We stay here because it’s convenient for visiting family near by and it’s usually the cheapest option. The reception staff are lovely which makes up for the glumness of everything else. The Brewers Fayre next door needs a full refurb. We only went for breakfast which was again the usual boring mediocre premier in standard. I did walk over for drinks one evening about 10pm but it was shut!

Very dissapointing. Stayed here for two nights on business. The reception was lukewarm to say the least, and the only information offered was that the restaurant (The only one near the hotel) was closed for the evening. The bedroom was very cold and I was unimpressed by a large area of missing paint on the bathroom ceiling, presumably the result of a leak from the room above at some point. Although the room rate included full breakfast, I was told when I went down the second morning that the restaurant was closed again, but was offered a croissant and a banana. Worst Premier Inn experience ever, and I've stayed in a lot.

I had my own room and my daughter had a family room. Room very clean , no issues. Lee on reception and the manager for breakfast were particularly helpful. Couldn't fault our stay. Breakfast had a good variety and choice. All staff polite and helpful.
