Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Los Alamos White Rock

I really like staying here. So far, its been quiet and no other issues. I hope it continues this way.

Frustrated at reception desk When we made the reservation we requested a king size bed, which was confirmed online. Upon arrival we were told by the employee at the front desk, there was no rooms with a king size bed and offered 2 double beds we could slide together. Needless to say we were irritated at this point after a long day of driving.

There’s a Sauna! We had a 24 hour sauna in the hotel next to our room. It was fantastic. The only bad thing was that there were no restaurants anywhere near us.

We stayed here for two nights. We requested the top floor when we booked the hotel, but we did not get the top floor when we checked in. On the first night, my husband and I were woken up by loud footsteps around midnight. The loud footsteps did not stop until 2am and I got very poor sleep that night. In the morning, I talked to the front desk lady and tried to change our room to the top floor. She told us people who stayed above us would check out today and the new guests would be staying above us. But the loud footsteps started around 8 pm on the second night and it did not stop until the front desk lady called the guests above us around 11pm. The front desk lady in the evening was very nice, but the front desk lady in the morning was rude. Overall the soundproofing was very poor. If you want to have a good night’s sleep, stay in a different hotel!

Considering it’s holiday weekend, it was quiet and we got to rest after a long drive and being out around enjoying our trip! We got a good nites rest , now to our next stop! Thank you

It was clean but not nice. Felt very much like a budget hotel. The mini fridge didn’t work and it took forever for the AC to cool the room down. We couldn’t pull into the front of the hotel to check in because other guests had parked their bike there and pulled out lobby chairs to drink/smoke outside. Again, it was fine but not worth half the price we paid to stay there.
