Montfair Resort Farm

Great little cabin in the woods. One bedroom and a sleeper futon couch, shower room and kitchen/diner/living area. Unfortunately our WiFi was down but it encouraged us to play Scrabble and read the books on the shelves. A good TV with lots of channels. Fridge/freezer with coffee, teabags and creamer for a couple of days. Full crockery and silverware for four people. Linens and towels in cupboard. Everything was very clean, three heaters kept us nice and warm.

I had to check in at a very late time, but it was very nice to be able to check in and out without any problems.

This community of cabins is located off the beaten path, with little to no call phone coverrage. We booked this a few hours before arriving, while on the Skyline Drive. When we arrived the check in staff had left at 5:00. There was information posted outside, with wifi access (which helped me access my ******* reservation information) and phone numbers to call (but no cell service). Our cabin # was posted, so we proceeded to the cabin to find it locked....and lock box with no code. We returned to the check in space and tried again to call contacts with no luck. Realized that it was not locked, so looked around inside for information and eventually we were met by someone affiliated with the resort, who was able to provide us with the code to get into our cabin. Lovely setting. Cozy, comfortable cabins to enjoy a rainy overnight and morning before continuing on our journey.

A great location and an extremely comfortable house. A lake with canoes available and a trail through the forest. Wildlife observation from the porch 😊 Highly appreciated!

Absolutely loved our tranquil and serene stay at the Montfair Resort Farm! The property felt incredibly safe and was clean and easily accessible. We would definitely stay again! Gorgeous location.

A-frame was a nice treat to long day of travel. Quiet and scenic overlook on deck. Clean and setup nice. Futon was not to comfortable for seniors but probably for kids Ok.
