We had a great time at Nottoway. They are in a remodel phase so we there weren’t many staying there. Everyone was warm & friendly, made sure we had everything we needed. It was fun getting to meet the staff. Jessica gave us a great tour of the mansion, we would definitely recommend Jessica as she was so knowledgeable of Nottoway and the area and fun to visit with. Thanks Nottoway for a fun visit.

In my opinion the most beautiful plantation that I have visited, Hunter the guide has generations of family member that have worked there and knows so much about it. Being able to sleep in the actual main house rooms makes this the most unique experience, magical! You actually feel like you live there. Just ask about restaurant hours otherwise you may get hungry!

The tour we experienced yesterday with the very knowledgeable gentleman who obviously had a love for not only history but old homes. Being a former owner of a pre-civil war home in the Catskill mountains it was enjoyable to share like-knowlege. We could tell he loved his work! He was an excellent historian. We thank him for his time. The plantation is exceptional. Definitely worth the trip from anywhere and everywhere.

Nottoway could be a beautiful and educational look into the past. However, due to changing management, the glorious mansion is not up to the Nottoway of bygone days. No restaurant, peeling paint, overall look of disuse.

This property ie stunning ! The staff is excellent and the room I stayed in was lovely. It was nice to hear the ship in the Mississippi It s like stepping back in time with today’s amenities They seem to be renovating parts of the property . I hope the put a spa and yoga classes in

We had fun at Nottoway! Pool has so much potential with regular cleanings… water was blue just normal build up of leaves and bugs … our tour was amazing we enjoyed our beautiful room as well. Staff was helpful!

It is a beautiful place I go there all the time beautiful plantation to tour and the biggest and the staff is nice very quiet and relaxing there's a pool and game room and restaurant in mansion very good food beautiful place to take pics it's a must visit place not far from other plantation to visit to

This was a recharge vacay for myself and Nottoway was the perfect place to stay.First the it s beautiful from the rooms to the buildings and the grounds . It’s time gone by captured in this lovely place . The staff is amazing they go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. The beds are luxurious and comfortable. I saw turtles , birds and geckos . The peace and tranquility was what I felt here I was rested and balanced at the end of my trip I didn’t want to leave . They have a pool a pool table a fitness room , a laundry a mansion and restaurant which is under renovation at the time of my visit. So whether you need to recharge or looking for a romantic place to go Nottoway is the place

Beautiful building to see but the restaurant is closed (they say for renovation, but no work appears to be taking place) the elevator didn't work and we had to carry our heavy bags up to the third floor, the hallway lights were very dim during the night making it very creepy. The porches were dirty and had no seating. On the positive side housekeeping staff is friendly and tries to make up for management failure and check-out was very efficient so we were able to get out quickly.
