The hotel wad very dated and basic, extremely uncomfortable bed, we had a sea view which we looked forward to but didn't realise we we're in the attic for this so had nearly 50 steps to our room which wasn't easy! On check out was told we could not pay bay card so had to go out looking for a cash machine this would have been useful to know at booking. On a positive the hosg was very friendly and helpful and ghr breakfast was lovely 😃

Really good location, spotless and a excellent breakfast each morning. We had a large, comfortable bedroom with an amazing view of the abbey (room 7). Tamzin is very friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. We were given a parking permit for the duration of our stay. Will definitely go back - Anne and Steve.

Best location Great location. Fantastic breakfast. Comfortable room. Good communication with the landlady, who did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable. We will definitely stay again. Parking permit was a great bonus.

Our second stay here, Tamsin the hostess is superb, and the b&b is spotless. Lovely breakfast, clean room, close to Main Street, quiet.. would definitely stay again.

Very good and friendly, close to all amenities, the pub nearby gramby serves very nice food, hotel about 10 minutes to the front, good breakfast warm rooms
