We didn't stay at the hotel but visited this Wetherspoons pub on our first night in Whitby. It had the usual choice of food and drink you would expect from a Wetherspoon pub at the usual good prices. Good service with friendly staff. Gets busy as it is right on the harbour.

The Angel Hotel Pub was a Wetherbey's pub. The price was better than most other pubs. During the day they had specials such as a small fish and chip meal with a beer for a good price. We ordered dessert just because of the price. We ate outside and found we could order with our smart phones. Convenient. I would go back.

Spooners. It’s all been said before but this place is a little bit special, especially on a sunny Saturday lunchtime. The place was heaving, so full credit to the staff and management team for what must have been a good days (hectic) trading. Love it.

Lovely, clean and modern hotel right in the middle of everything Whitby has to offer. It’s above a Wetherspoon pub of course but you’d never know once you’ve in your room, no noise 😊 Don’t be tempted to have breakfast here though because there’s a brilliant little cafe just 20 yards away (come out of hotel, turn left, it’s on the right) that does superb breakfast and it opens at 5:30am! They serve quality food at sensible prices.

The Angel Hotel which is a Wetherspoons one offers brilliantly priced food and drinks. The staff were all really helpful and quick to serve people. The weekend was really busy as their was a Goff weekend going on, this didn't stop the constant flow of food and drinks being delivered to tables. Our room was really clean, the hotel was right near the sea front. Whitby is a fantastic place to visit and the Angel Hotel a perfect place to stay.

This is the second time I have stayed here and there is nothing that could be improved. The hotel is clean, comfortable and in an excellent location. The staff are all excellent even storing luggage before check in and taking it to the room so it is there for when you check in. I can't think of a better place to stay when in whitby

Great first visit to Whitby Hotel in the best location Parking very close by Early afternoon check in. Friendly welcome. Nice room, very clean. Very comfy bed and pillows. Spacious bathroom with bath and shower. Had a great breakfast in the Weather spoons pub part of the hotel. Always great value. Overall very good, would definitely stay again.

Had a marvellous stay at The Angel Whitby, first time staying in a Wetherspoons hotel but won’t be the last. Room was large with a balcony overlooking the harbour. Good king size bed, good bathroom, walk in shower, tea, coffee, water & biscuits, all for a reasonable price. Check in easy & was warmly welcomed by the lovely receptionist (sorry I didn’t get your name) all staff pleasant throughout our stay.

Lovely 2 night stay. Room was immaculate and plenty of room. Comfy bed and pillows. Staff were very helpful. Check in was easy. Will definitely stay here again. We asked for an extra pillow which was delivered straight away. We ate in the pub, again very clean. We ate on the 2nd floor as it was easy to access from the lift, very quiet too couldn't here any noise from bar.
