As a family we travel to Whakatane a lot. Barringtons has been our go to accomodation on 4 occasions. The rooms are always immaculate, beds are comfy and the hosts are so welcoming and awesome! And because of this we will definitely be coming back

Awesome friendly staff with a really warm greeting and the large spacious clean unit had everything we wanted . Easy parking at the door . Beautiful cooked breakfast delivered on time . Highly recommend , will definitely be back to stay again

Barringtons Motor Lodge was our best value stay during our trip to the North Island. The motel is clean and tidy, the beds are comfortable, the lady at the desk was very helpful and friendly. The kitchenette had everything we needed to cook and eat an easy dinner. There even was a spa bath and a shower. We booked direct with them via phone and it couldn't have been easier. No Airbnb charge, our own space, it was just functional and we had a great stay. Many thanks!

This is one of the top motels we have stayed in. Beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, excellent shower pressure. Lovely big rooms and Kaye and John are so friendly and welcoming. Very highly recommend this motel to anyone staying in the Whakatane area. Thanks again foe the incredible hospitality.

Everything about this place was great. Friendly helpful Staff, great location, comfortable bed, large bathroom area and reasonably priced, Handy to town and restaurants. Only real drawback in our stay was the weather.

Spent 1 night here on a recent weekend trip to Whakatane. Was allocated a King studio (rm 12) which was comfortable & spacious and relatively quiet. Comfortable bed & more than adequate kitchenette with m/wave & hot plates plus fridge.
